you can use sissors a paper cutter is a more precise instrument. if you want a look at one just google it in images if theres any other question feel free to ask

are you supposed to use art glue to stick it all together? if i do that it can't open or close

this is my first one and i made mistakes like glueing the hinge down. I use regular glue. your not suppose to have a toothpick between the two hinges and then glue the hinges down to have the toopick still accessible then glue the top on to the toothpick, checkout my unboxing video to see what its suppose to look like. i messed up on this one but it was my first so i was proud ^_^

lol, its not that hard actually if you know how to fold rectangular boxes , it jsut soo small, so it takes a while. if you want the template google paper ds and you should find the template, its really cute
