I was always under the impression that being classified as a Christian bands means all the songs are about Jesus and/or worship. That doesn't mean that artists who are Christians only have to sing about Jesus .Sufjan Stevens is a great example, but his music isn't labeled as "Christian". I just don't think think you should classify bands that write mostly secular songs as Christian, regardless of the religion of the musicians.

Okay just for u i listened to "Evil Genius" "Love in Your Arms" "Here With Me" and "How It Feels" by Eleventyseven and they are definately not metal. i liked some of the songs but I did not hear any screaming or anything that i though related to hard core/screamo. First, how could you not hear the screaming? It's right out in the open for everyone to hear and enjoy. Second, I have heard "You're Ever So Inviting" by UnderØath, in fact it's probably one of my favorite songs by them, and it is pretty much as bubble gum pop as you can get! and lastly you are so hating on these bands, putting them in your own opinionated, biased, compartments of what you think they should be!
