I think you are amazing!! I really admire you!! Make up tip: try using make up called sheer cover. My mum has a really clear face, but she uses HUGE AMOUNTS of make up because of her job, but with sheer cover, it gives you sooo much coverage it's unbelievable!! It even gives you more coverage than what you wear and it looks better. And you only will have to use the to tiniest bit of concealer and the loose powder stuff that is sheer cover. I have acne and zits to, i mean i haven't had them since i started using green clay for washing my face. Since then i havent had any mayour problems. The seckond thing i started using is homeopathy. The problem with most ladies is that they feel that they cannot survive without wearing makeup on their faces. What they may not be aware of is the fact that makeup does contribute in a large way to clogging the pores which can aggravate or cause acne. Should it be necessary that you should wear make up, it should be water based.
Great Video! What do you do to make sure your skin doesn't dry out while you put on makeup? I use moisturiser and a primer, but it seems like as soon as I put on my makeup, I start drying up and getting flaky where my acne is. I don't want to over-do the oilyness with products, but I want my face to stay fresh..
@katarinagiselle You can try getting aloe vera face lotion (or just any aloe vero lotion), and put it on every night before bed and when you wake up in the mornings. If you wear makeup regularly like me, that should help. Tee-tree oil is a face friendly oil that also helps, but on me it puts a light undertoned shine. Hope I helped.

Brave and awesome video and you're beautiful! I had horrible acne about 2x the amt that you have and I tried everything and the products I LOVE and saw results were Mario Badescu acne products and burts bees acne solutions naturals they have worked wonders you should check them out. I worked in a derm clinic and have tried all the pills and topical solutions and i have found that some actually do more harm then good but that could just be me and my sensitivity to these things.

I commend you for showing your face in natural state. I suffer from same thing but I find silicone breaks me out really bad. I see your primer is silicone based. U should try not using silicone. My cystic acne has completely stopped once I cut out all silicone based products

I had a acne that was really getting bad too when I was younger and my dermatologist put me on Accutane because he told me he wanted to put me on that before it started to scar. Have you explored that option? Also, Solugel and Sans Acne Lotion are two acne treatments that worked for me phenomenally when I was between 14 and 22. Around 22 years old is when acne went away on its own. Hope that helped.

This video is great. I struggle with acne too (mostly scarring left over from my teen years) and I always have a little trouble with properly covering it evenly...I still take a retinoid cream every night and Finecea in the morning (which is a treatment used for rocesca usuallly)

i have been using the clean and clear acne kit and i do it every night and sometimes in the morning but since i have to go to school i have to shower do my makeup n hair n change but i have acne . mostly near around my mouth n a lil on my cheeks and i first apply concealer and them foundation n finish with powder and i hate not having perfect skin. I've watched this video 3 times now,and words cannot express how brave I think you are.My acne scarrings improved as i've used Terproline face cream in conjuction with skin peels,i'm still not entirely happy with my skin thought,I wont even leave my room until i've done my makeup,so for the sheer fact you can sit and post a video on youtube is just amazing,inspirational and very brave!xxxx

I wish I could find all the make up products you're using in the states. Right now I need major covering up. I will be starting accutane in about 3 weeks and if my acne is supposed to get worse then "oh my goodness" I need to find something quickly!

I broke out from Cosmetics, I think Silicone had alot to do with it, something to keep in mind.. If ur acne prone make sure ur makup is somewhat OK for ur skin..CoverFX, Tarte, Estee Lauder, Loreal, Almay, Minerals, Water based with less silicone is best..! Have u ever tried the Maximun Coverage By Estee Lauder? stuff has some SERIOUS coverage, U wont need to conceal PROMISE

Hi! Erm, I just wanted to ask what is your opinion on clinique? Cause they do their foundations to suit an acne prone skin. But I am not sure whether they will give me the proper coverage.
And also what would you recommend for that "dirty look"that comes at the end of the day? Somehow I end up with a look screaming - I have dirt on my face, around my mouth and nose. =.=

my best friend has no acne and stresses when she gets one pimple and it makes me stress that she must think my skin looks horrible.

Hi I have a question. The green concealer is used to combat redness right? How about the natural colored ones? Since acnes are generally "red", what use do they have then? which works better and looks more natural? =)

I have scarring all over my cheeks, my skin tone is totally uneven, and I hate my skin when it's not covered by make up! My skin is not as bad as yours, but it's still pretty terrible for me, and thank goodness I've watched your video so I now know what important steps I'm missing in my makeup routine!

I have some acne on my chin and cheeks and I HATE it. I wish there was no such thing as acne. I wish that no one would ever have to go through bad acne . I would not wish bad acne on my worst enemy.

This video is great. I struggle with acne too (mostly scarring left over from my teen years) and I always have a little trouble with properly covering it evenly...I still take a retinoid cream every night and Finecea in the morning (which is a treatment used for rocesca usuallly)

Then when I saw you take off your makeup and I felt normal :)

i have been using the clean and clear acne kit and i do it every night and sometimes in the morning but since i have to go to school i have to shower do my makeup n hair n change but i have acne . mostly near around my mouth n a lil on my cheeks and i first apply concealer and them foundation n finish with powder and i hate not having perfect skin. I actually went home early one day because i felt really really uncomofrtable with the way my face looked.

@rockodo123 You obviously dont have problems with severe acne. it does more damage to confidence than you think and a lot of make up is formulated so that it doesnt clog pores and actually helps skin. dont comment if youre going to say ignorant shit like that.
