Whoever said to not put her in front of a camera to speak is out of their mind. Alicia is very articulate and very intelligent. She can talk about anything and is always so kind and polite. Why would you say that about her? Anyway this is suppose to be about the new piano software, not the way she speaks. I think I'll stick with my free piano vsts, DSK acoustic keys and baby Jazz grand, but I have always prefered Yamaha keyboards for piano sounds, but the Roland JV 1080 has useable piano sounds.

@scoe1972 You would have to host the VSTi in a seperate program like Cubase etc, then you would find the style that you liked in the VSTi then just multisample it from there, and then load the seperate wav files into NNXT and spread them out across the keyboard accordingly. But once you had bounced them you couldnt change them as well using NNXT as you could in the VSTi. In short, it would be possible yes, if you have the patience. Hope this helps.

How can you call her piano badly out of tune she has a pro engineer set up her piano and no such thing as a 50 layer sampled piano that would be like over 200GB install. Her C3 neo is slightly out of tune on purpose many synth sounds and pianos are slightly out of tune to give it a certain sound if you knew anything about pianos you would know this.

No I don't have perfect pitch ( that is something you're born naturally with ), but I do have good relative pitch. It doesn't take a trained ear to hear how horribly out of tune this piano is... the unisons are out. She should have at least had it tuned, before this video presentation. Listening to an out of tune piano for me, is like listening to nails on a blackboard & makes me wince!

I do have perfect pitch and I think I figured out what you're hearing. The Stereo mic that's used on the camera filming this is crap. It's slightly out of phase causing a strange anomaly fooling the ear into thinking it's out of tune. Really it's just the phase issues in the recording. Her voice kinda sounds like it's in a tin can. The tin can is caused by the phase issues as well. If the person recording this had half a brain, they would have flipped the phase on one mic

Yes. Download of Kontakt Player comes with it. It is through choosing that in the AU Instruments menu that you access this lovely instrument. It's heavy on the CPU but very very soulful and sweet.Great for songwriting too

No midi control has that I agree. , I think that is what they really miss most of all, when using samples.. the nuances like half pedaling, etc....samples do not provide.... but as far as the regular sound of just hitting notes... they do provide that very well.

In my opinion this is the best virtual piano and i think i've tried them all.

It really has soul. i like to play jazzy style and this suites perfectly for it.

I like how the sound doesn't dissapear, die immediately, it lingers, greating awsome pool of heavenly sounds that melt my heart :)
