I have long forgotten just who the real terrorists are. We kill how many innocents all in the name of security??. For who. One guy tries to light his panties on fire in an airliner and we fear for our lives. Just look at what we are doing to the kids over their. Good for the military business I suppose. It's all a bunch of bullshit...
As much as I hate it, it's nearly too late to turn back from Afghanistan. But if they don't stop killing so many innocent civilians, then I prefer the United States to leave. Afghanistan's turning to another Vietnam all over again.
Afghans are united when evil try to land there. The history tell it better. let me refresh your memory. because you are in a khoab gaflat.
Alexander wrote letter to his mom, said," i am involved in the land of a lions and brave people, where every foot of the ground is like a wall of steel. You have brought only one son into the world, but Everyone in this land can be called an Alexander.......
Seeems like you are a talib (dal-khor=gas=gozok) You fucker.. People like you fucken paki-pashtoon destroys afghan-pashtoon names! go fuck yourself and your dhal khor pakies!

What's your definition of human? Just because we are a part of the same specieis does not make us all equal.
Why is it EVERY predominately Muslim country has so many human right's abuses? Is it human to kill over religion? To stone a woman to death for no reason? To hang children? To execute gays? To kill another human because they do not hold Mohammed in higsregard? To kill people that execercise free speech?
None of these things are embraced by Islam, the question is, why?
i agree with you Wideawake123, it is just more than devastating the humans life.
in other hand i am a pakhtoon but where ever there is a big communite of us there is more problem. i am sorry for ourselves we neighter become good for afghans nor for pakistan... our elders are just more then peices of shits...
Thats what Islam has been saying since the 60s. Matters have only gotten worse for them. People truly respond with respect and not fear, not based on how many people you can bully and kill, not based on how many wives you can beat into submission, but by the basic fundamentals for human life you can provide. Food, Shelter, Security, FREEDOM...Grasp this and Islam has a chance. If not, they will continue down the same path as before. Hopeless, Jobless, Leaderless, Loveless.
What a painful disappointment Obama is. Obama's foreign policy is exactly the same as Bush. IT would not had made a difference at all if McCain was elected instead.
USA has to borrow money from China to pay for this war.
Islam is a Warlord religion , you love the killing and the smell of death ,Allah make it so, 600ad was long ago . America give you purpose in life ,you love America , you would be lost and bored without them, and you like it when they kill innocent as you feel it makes your cause more just .Mixing population with talib , bring your army out and fight like men instead of hide behind women .
You just bully people the world will not stand for it much longer .Islam wake up your work is done Gods word is safe .Stand down and learn to tolerate other monotheistic religion .Then i will stop my Gov from hurting you
Islam is warlord religion? WRONG! Muslims didn't start the barbaric Crusades, the murderous Inquisition, or WW1, or WW2, or do Hiroshima, or Nagasaki, or the Holocaust, or ...
Second, you, it is you coward Americans that hide behind your fortified bases and bomb from 10,000 feet in the sky. Come out like MEN and go into the mountains to fight the Taliban!
Dude, the Middle East was conquering your asses with the best technology for 1300 years, when you people were throwing your shit out onto the streets of Europe. At least now they RESIST! - because they are the ones who truly believe in their sovereignty and freedom!
Yes, we other countries go to war and kill civilians out of "necessity" they admit what they are doing. But when the West goes to war, they kill civilians because the enemy is "hiding behind them".
Americans "don't kill civilians on purpose". Perhaps you should research the massacre of My Lai - when American soldiers raped and killed an entire village. Or maybe the haditha massacres when Americans soldiers RAPED A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL IN FRONT OF HER FAMILY, THAN BURNT HER AND HER FAMILY ALIVE!
All you flat earthers, you illterate MFs cry because you have no modern weapons. You lie, cheat and steal. Stone women who show their face. Hang kids for flying kites. And behead innocent men who won't bend to your shameless thuggery. Go on raping women and hiding from the US until we blow your ass off your Godforsaken body.
We really need to get the fuck out of there.... we are just making them more against us... more and more.. we will never win there respect heart and mind this way....
they plant inocent people in the grave , and poppies, to help by arms for israel ? ,, and the fruits of these things More innocent dead , plant food crops , to live long and prosper (get fuck US)
The Campaign for Liberty website is where I get my news, and a congressman with a peaceful philosophy with respect to ALL religions and ALL people of other nations has spoken in congress against these agressive and immoral actions - people wanted the wars to end, Obama LIED to them! Including the electorate!
I just want the middle east to know my government is absolutely wrong in their occupations and agressive wars and attacks on other nations, and people voted for 'obama' to 'change' things because he LIED to them at rallies and on 'television' and gave sound bites that he would 'end the wars' and 'end the occupations' and then KEPT the same secretary of defense and has MORE PLANS for occupation than even Bush;know that many USA people know this now! We do not WANT this, we want our gov to stop!
How did Obama lie about this? He's been saying he would send more troops to Afghanistan for like his whole campaign. Have you even watched his debates? You should have known what he stood for he was very public about it.
Excuse me for butting in, but you are dealing with a Paulbot. They are coated with a special alloy comprised of Smuganium 237, Zealium 18, Tunnelvisionite 35 and Sneeriate Hydroxide. This special mixture is prepared in small noisy enclaves sealed off from any contaminating critical thought and heavily applied by specially trained handlers using age old alchemical principles first described by ancient serpentium aqua salesmen.
In other words, don't bother, he's a brainwashed tool.
No, plutonwolf - the exact opposite is true. The entire Obama campaign was designed around a shoddily educated populace that had their ability to use critical thought stripped down to zip - not capable or willing to investigate Obama's 'full' agenda for wars/occupations, relying instead on sound bites and 'one time Obama said...' No tin foil hat here, no 'conspiricies', I think the world is seeing for themselves Obama is no 'diplomat.' Nor a 'constitutional scholar.'
ALL PRAISE THE GOOD DOCTOR, ALL HAIL SAINT PAUL. DESTROY ALL WHO OPPOSE THE ASCENDANCY OF THE PAULIAN WAY. STERILIZE...STERILIZE....STERILIZE yOU ARE NOT THE KIRK...ERROR ERROR ERROR.
Like I said, it isn't worth the effort debating with a zombie, I've tried and you all are totally impervious and extremely dishonest in expression of true motivation. TTMF
At rallies and on some tv spots, he said one thing, and at other gatherings he said the complete opposite - youtube search: which Obama did you vote for, which demonstrates the doublespeak. It's why so many Obama bumper stickers on cars have 'end the war' bumper stickers, too. People who voted for him really thought they were going to see and end to wars and occupation.
Ironically they have this right to protest thanks to us! But we're in Afghanistan because of 9/11 not to give them democracy or any of that crap so I don't care what they think we're gonna destroy Al-Qaeda whether they like it or not.
They'll fire back at you. You can't just wipe a people out with sustaining heavy casualties, and if non-conventional weapons or tactics are used, you will lose whatever moral high ground you thought you had.
It goes both ways. Every time the Taliban kill civilians, like mentioned in this report, people will turn against them too. Just look at what happened in Iraq. The Iraqi Sunnis don't like Americans either but after realizing that more of them were being killed by Al-Qaeda they formed their awakening councils and kicked the shit out of Al-Qaeda. The same thing will happen in Afghanistan. The only reason it got so bad is because we totally neglected this war while focusing on Iraq.
what isnt their enough palestinians and iraqis left to butcher? gotta go somewhere else now?burn down your poppie fields.africas almost finished.when are you people gonna wake from your dreams???????come into the real life people wake up wake up wake up!!!!!!!!!
That is the beauty of democracy, people are allowed to say what they say, during Taliban no one could have demonstration such as this or objecting against Taliban rule you wouldve immediately be headed with a knife, but now even Taliban can demonstrate on street, so what for having such a free dome few sacrifice are necessary, however if dont want to get killed so dont walk around the Taliban! Stay way from them I support America as long as they fight with Taliban & Pakistan
The USA is NOT a democracy - we are a constitutional republic - democracy is 'mob rule' with no established rights that can not be taken from you as an individual (re: life, liberty, property, freedom of religion, etc.) The middle east will be at war forever if it tries to install 'democracy', as one religions rule over another is impossible to achieve, even the people of the USA know this, but sadly most have been fooled into thinking the USA is a democracy when it isn't - research it!
I think talking to taliban is wrong, Afghanistan is tribal country US may buy some talib forces through negotiation but it would loose the trust of taliban opposition which most tribes are, like tajic, ozbak and hazara or northern alliance, so far these alliance they have kept quiet because US was fighting taliban since US negotiate with talib these people might turn against US so if this happen, now US fight against one tribe in the future US might have to fight with entire Afghanistan
As people despair of course such fantastic ideologies will florish. I look forward however to when education and science can flourish in the Islamic world and such fantasies can finally be banished to the childhood of mankind.
When Education and Science was flourishing in the Islamic world you people where a bunch of Barbarians killing eachother and where in the dark ages and The Islamic world was the worlds largest Country Humanity had ever seen! It is due to Islam you have a modern society as you know now. You might want to look for videos about History of Islam in Europe! After the dawnfall of Education, Science and Morality in our society we lost our status but due to youre science(Internet) now we will come back!

The downfall started when Mohammad came down from Hira. What has Islam contributed besides the suicide vest and beheadings on DVD in the last 3 centuries? Bear in mind, the chip that drives your computer there is a Jewish invention. Penicillen is a French invention. Americans invented the internal combustion engine. Islam's contribution to the world in the last 3 centuries are...??? One's desperation can be measured by how far back in history they must reach for their time of glory.
True Education and Science flourished in the Islamic world while we suffered under the tyranny of Catholic dictatorship. It is the key to progress however it's interesting that no scientific progress has ever been made by studying a religious text itself. Once we returned to science we became powerful again.
Here's a question - what happened to the Islamic world? Why did it fall behind the "Kaffur" world?
I hope all peoples benefit from modern science, I just hope they forget their religion.
what you fail to realize that behind these corrupt religions are people who have faith and know Fathers words are true now what you need to see through your hate glasses is that behind every bullet every death beats the heart of your brother and sister do you want to continue the killing? name one damn thing that science has every done to make the life of people better or for that matter all the earths ills?can you do that?all religions are an abomination to Father all of them
My hate glasses? Explain yourself because I'm not the one worshiping a god, who tears 42 children to shreds for mocking a bald man. This had better be good. I think you'll find nothing I have could even remotely be described as hateful.
"name one damn thing that science has every done to make the life of people better"
Says the ignorant fool who presumably thinks the computer technology he sits opposite was divinely revealed in the bible. Have you any idea how ridiculous your question is!!!
All the American gov't has done is problems and suffering for the rest of the world, our gov't makes Americans look bad, this needs to stop before things get much worst. "Freedom IS free, as long as no one takes it away from you"
And America was duped by Obama, who got people to vote for him by citing himself as an anti-war and anti-occupation candidate - what a FRAUD! Not that voting matters much on federal levels, because the ELECTORATE votes in our president, we are not a democracy (and nor should we be.) We're a constitutional republic, and elected officials are bound to peaceful principles and philosophies they now ignore - it's a sad state of affairs in the USA, and the world suffers for it. Google Ron Paul.
He arguments are extraordinarily contradictory, and could never solve the crisis of capitalism. And his "austrian economics" are so loose. It is a school of crank ideas.
There never was a free market or capitalism - neither is possible under the fiat monety system the 'federal reserve' (neither federal, nor a reserve) had in place over us, and now Europe (and others) - EVERYTHING Ron Paul warned about, with our monetary system, with war/occupation, and with our government's inability to abide by its oath to uphold the principles and 'role' it was supposed to honor, as a protector of the RIGHTS, have all, each one of them, come to fruition. Not duped; RP is right
No country comes even close to the U.S. in military power. It is this FACT which lays the basis for U.S. economic power. Even without troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
U.S. currency has been appreciating relative to other major currencies excluding Japan, whose economy is in serious trouble even compared with the U.S.
The U.S. government protects the interests of a few Billionaire families.
Yes the U.S. needs a revolution, but not based on Ron Paul's crank ideas.
What 'crank' ideas? Peaceful foreign policy? A sound monetary system that is put back in the hands of congress rather than the federal reserve?
I come from a long family history of men and women whom have worked in our military and in our government - the oath of office is to protect that constitution, not to run around the globe building military bases to 'flex' our military power. Our economic power should return to our production and prosperty, not be based on global 'acquirings'
There is no such thing as a peaceful foreign policy in an imperialist country such as the United States.
The current international banking crisis shows how interconnected world economies are. And the withdrawal of foreign investment, currently wreaking havoc on the underdeveloped world, is evidence of a disproportionate balance of power weighted heavily towards imperialist countries; chiefly the United States.
The current crisis, is a crisis of overproduction.
Here I somewhat agree with you on the second part of your reply - except I'd add in 'over-consumption' and 'over-extended debt' to the overproduction (and the production wasn't exactly being 'produced' here in the US.)
the USA wasn't supposed to be an imperialist nation - we were founded upon a peaceful, non-intervention foreign policy, one of friendship and trade, not of trying to get the world to 'be like us.'
As Taliban activity steps up, so will civillian casualties. "Civilians were not the targets, but many were killed." So, when the Taliban kills civillians, it's the west's fault? Maybe it's time the people of Afghanistan, whom I have nothing but sympathy for, consider how many of them would be dead right now if the Taliban were still in power. The Afghanistan of today is a great deal better than the Afghanistan of the Taliban. There is no magic bullet that only kills combatants. We are dying too.

That's so funny and astute(look it up) of you! Thank you for illustrating your superior knowledge of world events to the group here. I especially enjoyed the way you outlined the steps that must be taken to aleviate the current crisis in Afghanistan. I think the world leaders need only turn to your inciteful comment above for the answers to many of the worlds problems. I nominate promi5e for "advisor to the world". "Way to Go!" promi5e, keep up the good work and "death to America"...
The CIA trained the taliban to resist an occupation so successfully they kicked a half million Russians out of their country. What do you think a hundred thousand troops accidentally killing civilians is going to accomplish except make locals more sympathetic to the taliban? We aligned ourselves with the Northern alliance of ruthless drug lords to fight the taliban and they treat the locals just as badly. How can this situation end well? Pull the troops out they are dying for nothing.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Not all of the Northern Alliance were drug lords, I remember that AlQaeda actually assassinated many of the most influencial Afghanis on the behalf of themselves and the Taliban as soon as the war began. BTW the Taliban's #1 source of funding is opium. I agree it's not a good situation allowing your enemy a safe zone to retreat and regroup in(read Pakistan), but the alternative is an expanded fanatical fundamentalist influence thoughout S. Asia and the ME. We Can't allow the Talban to win.
The US had no problem with the taliban until the unocal pipeline deal fell through. The nabucco pipeline does not need to go through Afghanistan so what is the point of us being there? We are encouraging religious extremism in a people we did not care about until we needed them to provide security for a proposed pipeline. When Clinton was briefed on the Taliban's treatment of women he replied "We can live with that" Google taliban unocal.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
What does the Nabucco pipeline have to do with Afghanistan? What does Clinton's crappy foreign policy have to do with it now? Please read my 2 comments above, then, comment re: my stream of thought. My comments are logical and pointed, while I'm just not sure what Yours have to do with them, my 1st response to you was an answer and a further thought. How does this last reply of yours follow my response to your 1st reply to me?(I swear that makes sense) Where is the continuity in you dialog?
The taliban were defeated 2 weeks into the war. Source: Paul O'neill former secretary of the treasury under Bush. Our occupation is fueling religious extremism and we don't even need the pipeline that is the cause of the occupation. Why are we there? What are our soldiers dying for? That is the point I am attempting to make.
Listen, your quote wasn't true then and it isn't now. Maybe we should retreat inside our borders, yes? Maybe that's what we should do, because Old Europe, The Muslims and China did such a great job colonizing the planet for hundreds of years previous. We aren't in Afghanistan for the pipeline, we're there for the people. What's with the cynicism? We're trying to give them something better than soccer stadium stonings and sorrow. Find the movies "Osama" and "The Kite Runner" and watch them.
Find some declassified documents at NSA archives org and see how many ruthless dictators we have propped up for our own interest or the interest of corporations before making that laughable argument. The US vetoed a UN resolution calling on Israel to recognize the human rights of the Palestinians. You are dreaming if you think we care about the Afghani people.
I'll tell that to my nephew who is leaving Iraq to go to Afghanistan...I'm sure he'll appreciate your tirade. Nevertheless, don't make the mistake of confusing the UN with human rights. Especially where it come to Israel, the UN is a JOKE. Check my favorites. The 1st on my list from "EyeontheUN". It's "us against them" and the thing about that is, that when We win, Schools get built over there and hospitals. When "They" win the lights go out and the mass graves get filled.
When Osama built schools, hospitals, and infrastructure he got the peoples support. When we do it we get roadside bombs. Good luck with that plan. No country wants to be occupied by foreign troops.
Sure he did...Do me a favor and point me to the article about all the schools and hospitals OBL built for children and the like. Maybe you can post a link. Some moron is going to read your comment and get the idea that OBL is a hero who build hospitals. They might get the idea that Mullah Omar is really a hero and that the USA is really "The Great Satan". Listen, we could pave Afghanistan, make it a parking lot and build our own pipeline but we didn't. Instead we built schools and hospitals.
NOTE: Not "Done". Not even close to "Done". Osama bin Abadboy doesn't build hospitals and libraries for little children, he builds and built training camps for Islamic "Holy Warriors" (Jihadis) He's not built any infrastructure, he's Blown Up infrastructure along with more civilians and little kids than the USA has in Both wars. Every time a car blows up killing dozens in a market, that's your "Fedayeen"s signature on the gravesites. Maybe you should list the hospitals and I'll list the Victims.
I watched a couple of your videos. If you believe Osama is responsible for 9/11 then why did he do it? His Fatwa is available on the internet along with his CNN interview. At least find out why he did it before assuming it is religious only. The west has been fucking with the middle east for centuries. That might piss off the average middle easterner enough to say enough.
Oh, I see...The Ottoman Empire, that would be "the West fucking with the middle east", right? The Fatmid Caliphate? How about the Umayid Caliphate...Another example of "the West fucking with the middle east"? What exactly was the significance of the date Sept. 11th? Anything happen on that date before 2001? With Islam, it's never "religious only". Don't you know that? In 732AD, Charles Martel really pissed off the Arabs too. Don't you go mixing me up with some whole other body.

Yes, I read his fatwas(s) he's quite prolific. Also I was just reading what you sent. You should have read it further, because the whackjob congresswoman's statment is refuted 3 paragraphs below it. Answer me this...Is OBL responsible for killing more "infidels" or Muslims. Is Islamic Holy Hatred responsible for killing more Jews and Christians or Muslims? Who killed more Iraqis, George Bush and the US AF, or Saddam Hussein? Who killed more Iranians, The Shah, or the Mullahs? Hint:I win every 1.
More than one article dude. Catholics killed more infidels than any other religion. We killed more Iraqi's than Saddam not even counting the sanctions. The Shah was a US puppet installed by a coup engineered by the CIA so I can't answer that one since the Cia did not keep records on how many he killed. The Cia was not allowed in Iran during the rule of the Shah.

I'd 1st. like to compliment you on how popular you are.(Thumbsup+) I'm actually responding to the comment you removed, as the text was sent to my e-mail. I assure you those "US sanctions"(note-not UN) resulted in 16 PALACES.(You think he could have bought meds., built hospitals, fed his people with that money?) So let's dispence w/the nonsensical notion that it was the USA that killed all those Iraqis. That Arab-centric talking point is ridiculous. The number pre-war is estimated at 1.5 Million.

Good luck with the linux I'm sure it will be more cooperative than I was. Also, congratulations on your many shell profiles too. My comments should'nt last long under your bombardments. Too bad the rest of the Dar al Harb isn't as easily manipulated as a comments forum on YouTube huh? One day you may want to actually examine the truth which seems to be on holiday here. Most will see that you never really had any answers for me, just a whole lot of profiles to manipulate the forum with.

I'd like to point out that you posted your "I am bit bored..." comment well after the 5 replies to you below. I suppose you were hoping to make it seem like I was stalking you, I thought I might shed some light on your tactic. This comment, and the comment above it would have been my "last words" and you would have posted your "I'm bored..." comment after and above where I posted my replies to you. Slink away now coward, continue reading your fairytales.
Is that why they all show up after my comment? Nice try to save face. Spread your uniformed propaganda somewhere else. It is obviously not working well in this thread now is it? 68 thumbs down in this thread alone.
NOTE: More pretending. This is and "argument"? Because you postred this in response to a comment above a few I posted before that mean it was poted 1st? Even the Noobs know better.
NOTE: Here you attempted to disengage and run away. I guess you must have read everything that had gone before this and decided to cut and run from a bad beating. PASMdude, this is too easy. Start at my 1st comment and see how poor a job you did of having a discussion witrh me.

...Your assertion about Catholics is bogus. The estimated bodycount in India alone during Islam's march through is staggering. While actual numbers were'nt recorded, it's estimated that anywhere from 20 million to 100 million Indians were kill over the centuries of slaughter.(kinda gives "Hindu Kush" a whole new meaning) After centuries of trying, the Muslims realized there were simply too many Hindus to eliminate, so they gave them Dhimmi status. So, changing the subject made it worse for you.

...as for Saddam killing all those Iranians w/American weapons- Also bogus:The bulk of Saddam's military was made up of Soviet, Chinese, and French weapons. MiGs, Silkworms, AKs, and SCUDs aren't made in USA and that was 99% of his inventory. We also supplied Iran.(Iran-Contra ring a bell?) As for the Shah vs Ayathollah stats, they are available. Here's a hint:The Shah was only concerned with fanatical Ayathollahs and their ghouls. Iran's people and economy were the class of the Islamic world.

...Of the Dozens of coups and Hundreds of political assassinations that happed in the Arab/Islamic world in the last century, the only one anyone wants to talk about is Mosadec in Iran. What of the rest? Their entire political structure last century was created artificially by Britain, USSR, France..etc. Add in the dozens of Leaders the Arabs bumped off in their quest for power and you have DOZENS of dead Kings, Emirs, etc. Nasser's rise to power for instance. Coups abound in the Islamic world.

Finally, please give me the adresses of these famous hospitals Osama bin Laden built. While you are at it, name a single country where his touch hasn't brought death(to Muslims mostly). Was his influence positive in Sudan? No. Somalia? No. Saudi Arabia? No. Afghanistan? Are you kidding?! He rides the "pale horse". All the hospitals OBL built exist only in Islamic Fables. His Jihad has killed far more people than it's helped. There's My repudiation of OBL! He's damaged the lives of Millions now.

In closing I would once again like to congratulate you on your wild popularity here. While your talking-point arguments have no basis in fact, they are rich fables that the bulk of the readers of this forum have been raised to believe and enjoy reading. Until the truth becomes popular here I expect more of the same, but no matter. It's not about telling people what they want to here, it's about the truth for me. "The Emperor has no clothes" and someone fed you a bill of goods. Enjoy your day.

Look you twit... your comments show up after this comment, even though I'm posting it a week later. You're a tool and a pussy, which is why you had no answers. Still haven't found any of Osama bin Suckinnuts hospitals...a few terrorist training camps(oh I'm sorry..."resistance-fighter" training camps) though. Have a nice life scooter, and "Death to America and the Jew"..Dick.
I don't have any sock accounts. You have over 100 markdowns. I have over 30 mark ups. Great job you are doing of convincing everyone I am the twit genius.
In that case, I'll go to each individual comment that you made and I made and annotate each individual argument that you DIDN'T "back up". Before I do that though, this is (I think) the 5th time I'm asking you to list the "Hospitals, Schools, Libraries and Infrastructure" that Osama bin Laden has built. Directly under this comment would be a good place. Sorta like all those other points you didn't have. Let's read more about Saint Osama's charity work.
I put up a video yesterday about why the neocons said they wanted troops in the Persian Gulf a year before 9/11. Helping school children is not listed. Watch and comment if you like you are not blocked.
NOTE: Start over. Reply to my 1st comment as a gentleman, AFTER READING IT, then I might consider removing the evidence of your sad display here. Those +- thumbs mean nothing when the comments are read. I stand by everything I posted. NOTE: You had no point.
NOTE: Here your arument was to Ignore MY argument and questions. Very cute, but does nothing to answer my questions. Notice how you steadily lost +s as this conversation went on...That's because you evaded every question I asked and never stayed on topic.
NOTE: You change subjects faster than a runway model changes clothes. If I were being funny, I would ask: What does "The taliban were defeated 2 weeks into the war.Source: Paul O'neill... " have to do with the Nabucco Pipeline which was the Red Herring you swam Last comment? All of which is cover for the biggest fauxpas of the comment which was you blaming US for "fueling religious extremism..." Oh, because AQ and The Taliban were moderates before we invaded...That explains WTC Attacks 1 and 2.
NOTE: Here, you swam a Red Herring in an attempt to change the subject when I pointed out that your generalization of the Northern Alliance was flawed and that it was the Taliban who relies on opium for their financing. I asked 2 questions above and commented that your comments had nothing to do with my stream of thought...at which point you changed the subject Yet Again!
I made a video just for you and tagged it with your name so you could find it that will tell you exactly why we are in the Persian gulf. If you don't care enough to it find out then good for you. I can watch my DVD in peace.
Ive returned to this video forum. If you wish to discuss the Taliban, that's where this started. I commented that When NATO kills civillians, it outrages Afghans. When the Taliban kills civillians, the Afghans again are outraged at NATO forces. Let's examine my 1st comment, that you felt compelled to respond to. Let's discuss Afghanistan under Taliban control first. What do you know of this? You mentioned the heroic work of Osama bin Laden there, please continue.
Wanna start from scratch? The man said we are responsible for the instability in the region if Afghanistan were stable would civilians be hit in the non existent crossfire?. We had no problem with the Taliban until the deal with UNOCAL fell through so life in Afghanistan under the Taliban was not a problem for us when their leaders were being wined and dined in Houston, Tx in 1997.
You equate the Taliban w/"stability"? You think life for the Afghans was better under the Taliban? I suggest you watch a few of the movies that have come out of Afghanistan concern them since their ouster. Note: They are mostly subtitled Dari/Farsi language films. Apparently, when it comes to Islam, you know about as much as Ron Paul. (<0) May I suggest you Google RAWA and take a trip down the Taliban's "memory lane". The only "stability" the Taliban offered was a stable safe haven for AlQaeda.
I said "There is no stability in Afghanistan. The civil war is STILL GOING ON between the drug lords and the taliban while the government does nothing but sit in their air conditioned offices thinking up ways to skim money from the reconstruction fund."
There is no stability in Afghanistan. The civil war is still going on between the drug lords and the taliban while the government does nothing but sit in their air conditioned offices thinking up ways to skim money from the reconstruction fund.
So you equate the government of Afghanistan w/corruption, while you place the Taliban at odds w/drug-lords. Yet as I said, The Taliban's #1 source of finance is Opium. Now, tell me about that fantasy republic where politicians are honest. Those were taxicabs you saw driving down real pavement. Those imaginary hospitals...were Closed by the Taliban when they took power. Women were'nt allowed to work, so no nurses either. No Music, Movies, TV, Kites, Dancing, Education...very stable under Taliban.
Please see former responses. You think we are in the middle east to bring democracy. I have provided you overwhelming evidence as to why we are in the Persian gulf. You talk like a troll, a very good troll but a troll none the less. I was reading the art of war when you thought your dick was to pee with so I don't know why I should waste my time with you.
The Afghans are better off now than when the Taliban was in power. Do you agree or not. You speak of stability as if that breeds progress. Progress doesn't come from stability, it comes from changing and adapting to changes in a structure. There was plenty of stability in the former USSR. Everyone knew their place. Your insults are no substitute for clear thoughts and logic. Are the Afghans better off or not? Will the situation worsen if the Taliban regain control or not? Stability is overrated.
""You speak of stability as if that breeds progress. Progress doesn't come from stability, it comes from changing and adapting to changes in a structure."" I have no idea what gave you the idea I said anything about stability. Cut and paste please.. Karzai is a puppet maybe after elections there will be some stability there has been nothing but civil war for decades. The Taliban almost eliminated the drug trade when they were in control what makes you think they are profiting from it now?
PASMdude (4 days ago)"There is no stability in Afghanistan. " Twice you said that. You asked me to cut and paste...Look 4 comments above this. Karzai was elected. The Afghans voted for him at least the last time, I know for sure. I think you might try googling about opium. under news:"By collecting tithes from opium farmers, charging protection money and offering convoy guards, Taliban are able to channel hundreds of millions of dollars from the drug trade into their insurgency."
A new United Nations report warns that one reason opium production in Afghanistan could rise again this year is because the Taliban are using it to fund their terrorist activities. So where you about to say that even though the UN is a bunch of worthless pieces of shit, you were able to do more research from your little mobile home in Texas than the UN? Are you calling your homeboy's(The PLO) last refuge a bunch of liars? Or can we trust the UN report?
NOTE: Here is one of your arguments that are based on fallacious generalizations and I answered with a factual rebuttal:"...the Taliban's #1 source of funding is opium." Ahmad Shah Massoud nicknamed "Lion of Panjshir" was one of those Northern Alliances of USA. He wasn't a drug lord as I said. He was assassinated by Al Qaeda two days before 9/11. He was trained by us. Allied w/us. Martyred by your saint and named a National Hero of Afghan. He would have been our 1st choice to lead Afghanistan.
I agree we should do this in public. No one is watching this thread anymore. Come to my vid and start something. I am watching a movie now but I will make some time for you today.

and then u well know u stupid moron .
but still if u wanted 2 send more troops lolz i would say why dont u join them and lose ur arms so i dont have 2 read ur stupid comment lolz
More troops? That technique, the only one the US understands, will not work for the same reason it failed in vietnam.
Promote the tribal councils, secular public education. Control of the borders is the best the US military can possibly hope to achieve and even then it will require a massive, massive diplomatic effort to appease the Iranian and Pakistani public. like I said however, the USA has no concept of this what-so-ever let alone how to do it.

Thats what Islam has been saying since the 60s. Matters have only gotten worse for them. People truly respond with respect and not fear, not based on how many people you can bully and kill, not based on how many wives you can beat into submission, but by the basic fundamentals for human life you can provide. Food, Shelter, Security, FREEDOM...Grasp this and Islam has a chance. If not, they will continue down the same path as before. Hopeless, Jobless, Leaderless, Loveless.

BagOfEyebrows 2 years ago
But many Americans are duped by Ron Paul too.
He arguments are extraordinarily contradictory, and could never solve the crisis of capitalism. And his "austrian economics" are so loose. It is a school of crank ideas.
really12345 2 years ago

BagOfEyebrows 2 years ago
There is no such thing as a peaceful foreign policy in an imperialist country such as the United States.
The current international banking crisis shows how interconnected world economies are. And the withdrawal of foreign investment, currently wreaking havoc on the underdeveloped world, is evidence of a disproportionate balance of power weighted heavily towards imperialist countries; chiefly the United States.
The current crisis, is a crisis of overproduction.
really12345 2 years ago
Here I somewhat agree with you on the second part of your reply - except I'd add in 'over-consumption' and 'over-extended debt' to the overproduction (and the production wasn't exactly being 'produced' here in the US.)
the USA wasn't supposed to be an imperialist nation - we were founded upon a peaceful, non-intervention foreign policy, one of friendship and trade, not of trying to get the world to 'be like us.'

The CIA trained the taliban to resist an occupation so successfully they kicked a half million Russians out of their country. What do you think a hundred thousand troops accidentally killing civilians is going to accomplish except make locals more sympathetic to the taliban? Not all of the Northern Alliance were drug lords, I remember that AlQaeda actually assassinated many of the most influencial Afghanis on the behalf of themselves and the Taliban as soon as the war began. The US had no problem with the taliban until the unocal pipeline deal fell through. The nabucco pipeline does not need to go through Afghanistan so what is the point of us being there?

68 thumbs down in this thread alone.

...Your assertion about Catholics is bogus.

You mentioned the heroic work of Osama bin Laden there, please continue.
wideawake123 2 years ago
Wanna start from scratch? The man said we are responsible for the instability in the region if Afghanistan were stable would civilians be hit in the non existent crossfire?. We had no problem with the Taliban until the deal with UNOCAL fell through so life in Afghanistan under the Taliban was not a problem for us when their leaders were being wined and dined in Houston, Tx in 1997.
PASMdude 2 years ago
Start from my 1st comment. Try that.
Also, is the "stability" of the Taliban preferable to what is going on now? Shall we discuss that, or my 1st comment?
wideawake123 2 years ago
I just addressed your first comment. and the last comment at once.
PASMdude 2 years ago
You equate the Taliban w/"stability"? You think life for the Afghans was better under the Taliban? I suggest you watch a few of the movies that have come out of Afghanistan concern them since their ouster. Note: They are mostly subtitled Dari/Farsi language films. Apparently, when it comes to Islam, you know about as much as Ron Paul. (<0) May I suggest you Google RAWA and take a trip down the Taliban's "memory lane". The only "stability" the Taliban offered was a stable safe haven for AlQaeda.
wideawake123 2 years ago
I said "There is no stability in Afghanistan. The civil war is STILL GOING ON between the drug lords and the taliban while the government does nothing but sit in their air conditioned offices thinking up ways to skim money from the reconstruction fund."

No Music, Movies, TV, Kites, Dancing, Education...very stable under Taliban.
wideawake123 2 years ago
Please see former responses. You think we are in the middle east to bring democracy. I have provided you overwhelming evidence as to why we are in the Persian gulf. You talk like a troll, a very good troll but a troll none the less. I was reading the art of war when you thought your dick was to pee with so I don't know why I should waste my time with you.
PASMdude 2 years ago 2
The Afghans are better off now than when the Taliban was in power. Do you agree or not. You speak of stability as if that breeds progress. Progress doesn't come from stability, it comes from changing and adapting to changes in a structure. There was plenty of stability in the former USSR. Everyone knew their place. Your insults are no substitute for clear thoughts and logic. Are the Afghans better off or not? Will the situation worsen if the Taliban regain control or not? Stability is overrated.
wideawake123 2 years ago
""You speak of stability as if that breeds progress. Progress doesn't come from stability, it comes from changing and adapting to changes in a structure."" I have no idea what gave you the idea I said anything about stability. Cut and paste please.. Karzai is a puppet maybe after elections there will be some stability there has been nothing but civil war for decades. The Taliban almost eliminated the drug trade when they were in control what makes you think they are profiting from it now?
PASMdude 2 years ago
PASMdude (4 days ago)"There is no stability in Afghanistan. " Twice you said that. You asked me to cut and paste...Look 4 comments above this. Karzai was elected. The Afghans voted for him at least the last time, I know for sure. I think you might try googling about opium. under news:"By collecting tithes from opium farmers, charging protection money and offering convoy guards, Taliban are able to channel hundreds of millions of dollars from the drug trade into their insurgency."
wideawake123 2 years ago
