@hamko6 I know it's hopeless to argue against this kind of mentality, but I'll bite:
They're called "break falls", and they exist to allow aikidoka to explore deeper martial principles than if we were to just smash each other to pieces like thugs.
"Yeah, look how tough I am... in my well lit dojo on an even floor with air conditioning and soft mats." Yes, that's very "real".
How about this: Accept that no dojo can ever offer a truly "real" practice because you can never emulate the street.
Before you learn any Martial Art, please learn to speak English...otherwise you will show how fool you are indeed.

What a load of crap... this is why I hate AiKido, presentations are so filled with fake jumps...
it seams like Real AiKiDo Presentations are much more REAL... no wonder why its called Real AiKiDo.
