I live in Blacksburg. This tragedy shook me to the core as an individual, and touched me as I saw my whole community come together. I realize I will probably never see such violence again, and it saddend me that this event took place at all. My heart and prayers go out to all the victims and their families. As I read through the comments. I think the pain and fear of this happening again causes the exact opposite response, (in some) to stopping the violence. This is a tragedy of hate and failure to except personal responsibility. Neither a gun, the government, an Asian, nor any other group caused this. A person who was not taught how to handle life did this.
