The one prob I had with this game was that more Bugs die than humans, I mean it was the exact opposite case in the films.

i'm dooing this mission now ive got to the two plasma bugs at the top of the mountain and i see the nuke launcher in the crate but it wont let me pick it up is this another bug in the game cause its pissing me off.

No it's not a bug (no pun intended), you have to slay the plasma's using your normal weapons. And yes, it does take ages. Hope you have some rockets spare...

they give you crap weapons to take on 2 baby plasmas on this game what i want to know is why is the rocket launcher siting in the crate but u cant pick it up.

I think that I haven't gone to this point yet in the "kill the plasma bug" mission. Actually,I get stuck when I go up the hill and need to clear the dropzone. There are 2 plasma bugs there and infinite bugs come from all direction. I meet up a squad of troopers in the first place but they get killed right at the beginning. Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Yea i remember that bit, annoying as hell cause the Plasma's take an age to destroy. If you have some rockets that'll help you take em out faster, otherwise generally clear out the normal bugs then go for one of the plasma's for a bit. Repeat until they're both history (takes ages if you have no rockets)

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I get the rockets but the problem arises after I kill the first plasma bug. When I go for the 2nd one, the normal bugs keep coming and coming and I don't have any chance to aim and shoot the 2nd plasma bug. I try to ignore the attacks from the normal bugs and shoot rockets at the plasma bug but I simply get killed by them. When I try to kill the normal bugs first then they just keep respawning. I am really frustrated.

I know its a really solid bit of the game that's for sure. It's kinda lousy really but stick with it, plenty of awesome moments later in the game

I finally proceed to the point where you need to kill the adult bug (that's exactly the video shown here). Does it makes any difference when you save as many troopers as you can before meeting this big bug? In my games, I can only save 5 of them and I find that I don't have any backup when I try to aim the adult bug and many normal bugs keep coming and finally get me.

Don't think so man, I think there's a bunch of troopers there either way. They may well die after a bit I didn't really notice to be fair. The normal bugs come in waves so as soon as they appear concentrate on them till its just you and the big guy again...

Ummm when you enter the area with the plasma bug there should be a whole squad of troopers shooting at it. If this isn't the case then somethings gone wrong. Rocket launcher can be picked up from ammo crates.

Can't really remember man, I guess some sort of energy shots seeing as the ammo is infinite. That is if you're talking about the initial gun.

Oh that thing. Yea it's the basic starting weapon with infiinite shots. Ridiculously, there was no ammo provided near the end to deal with the X-Bug using other weaponry, I'd used it all up fighting a large army of bugs beforehand.
