i have too many memories wd this song it use to cm one tv when i was still in school!so yes i do like the song!:)
i make burgul with chicken stock and with garlic and chopped onions boiled one!mixed with freekeh !and corriender ....and lemon ....its my own recepei ..its ok, but i can see you are realy good with food ...so i would like to see your recepie plz ...thankyou if you have time that is!:)
i think burgul is verstile, you can use it many ways and can be cooked in many ways...i like your recipe..sometimes you can mix it with tomato paste and it turns red and has a tangy taste or just use it instead of rice, mixed with lentils to make mujaddara with burgul, its very tasty.
Thanks Aminah for coming by, watching and leaving a comment...i really appreciate your input too..always nice to how other people cook their food in many different and delicious ways.
Your recipes are very useful, I always see this in the store but don't buy because i don't know how to cook it, maybe i'll pick it up next time thanks to you :) I know it's popular in egypt and my mother cooks egyptian food but I was not familiar with it growing up.
Yummy!!! Love the song, too!!!!!

You could fry onions in the beginning, and when it turns goldenish, add the roasted green beans, then the rest..

I was introduced to Freekeh overseas.. I must admit it's so tasty..
Other variations include adding rice to the dish. I make mine slightly differently cookingtheeasyway, but great job!
