National Express East Coast - The Franchise Lost?

Even if I'm American, I think British Rail should come back to take care a business on every passenger train in the nation because privatization screws up everything. In the US we have a nationalized passenger railway called "Amtrak". The US government wants to screw up Amtrak by privatizing it. Countries like Germany, Russia, France, and Japan did a good job taking care of thier nationalized network by operating it & never let companies take over thier network.

first great western was the worse comany years ago an recently it done a 180 an became the best intercity of all intercity lines i rekon they could pull the same trick with ease.

I saw it comming, i think that the tickets were overpriced for a start, well slightly overpriced, and you had to pay extral 5 punds for a reserved seat, although it might be a good thing with it in publiownership

oh dear doesn't seem too good apparently if the problems continue about keeping the NXEC then it might be better if could be some better then the NXEC dnt know what it will be but take me seriously if you can but in the near future a new railway franchise for the East Coast Main Line would be great. But also sorry that the NXEC franchise is going down but better things in life for the railway future

Such a shame i love NXEC there were shuch a good company and the lord andions or what ever hes called should give them a second chance before saying i cant bail them out. Long live NXEC. But for now RIP NXEC we shall never forget you

there are many opinions about NXEC. I personally wasn't a fan, the seat reservation prices, no Valenta farewell ect............ It is never good when a TOC looses its franchise especially under the circumstance NXEC did. Thanks for you comment an opinion Matt!
