Well the reason they get millions per pic is business. The movies make heaps gross profit (most times) and if there the one who's face is a major draw then youd want to make sure you get your due when the studios carve that money up, as for Oprah i think she's scandalous, she has billions and she still makes a dodgy magazine full of ads and little content.
I think it's so stupid celebrities have huge mansions. If they have a small family, why have such a big house? I understand them having slightly bigger houses than normal (although I don't agree with it) and luxuries like cars, but that is just ridiculous. How about using the money wisely, e.g Africa instead of wasting it on expensive shit.

How does Halle Berry afford that house? It's not like she worked on a long running successful tv show where she would be getting residuals or has a huge movie career. She works, but I can't imagine she gets that much per film that would allow her to afford a place like that.
