I just watched a documentary about this man, and he was very unstable and possessive. Regardless of what he says he did have a history of pulling out guns on people including John Lennon and The Ramones. It's all about maintaining control and being as manapulative as possible with Phil Spector. Well Karma has caught up with Phil, and he has lost alot of his control now that he is behind bars. He will still be regarded as being a pioneer in the music business, but he is a seriously disturbed man.

I am looking forward to the movie that is going to be coming out, Al Pacino plays the part of Spector, and I think it is an HBO production? Not sure, but Spector is certainly an interesting character to study. Amazingly talented, desperately ill, not a bad guy, just sick...and scandal. Makes for a good movie, I imagine.
