AURANGZEB was the greatest Emperor of India. His kingdom was the largest ever in india,

he was a secular and benevolent person and very honest. british tried to defame him and some people are dancing on their tunes like monkeys.

brother, google can not teach us history, you have to read some profession books and not road side maratha writers or paid history writers of shivaji bhonsle. what i have said is absolutely right. there was nothing like maratha empire. IT was only ROYAL INDIAN MUGHAL EMPIRE.. the last we had built, spread from Afghanistan to Bangladesh upto Mayanmar(Berma)

@usman55990 lolzzz... do u kno 1674 to 1818 .was under maratha empire . whole maharashtra , gujrat rajasthan, punjab , delhi , up, west benagl, m.p .. this regions was under maratha empire .. who told u .. after d death of maratha chhtrapti too he was unable to win 1 inch of maratha land..lolzzzz..and failed to become "shenshah "of india after 1674...

Marathas didn't conquer whole India but most of the parts. They also had areas of Punjab. Their empire started falling after 1761, and Maharaja Ranjit Singh was born in 1780.

U will also get reference to the defeat of Aurangzeb by Marathas in FATEHNAMA which was written by Guru Gobind Singh Jee to Aurangzeb.

@usman55990 That is not my own history. Just tell me why D tomb of Auranzeb is not in Delhi but is in Maharashtra? Because he came down to fight against marathas and died there. Just read D history yourself how Marathas/Peshwas went on to win most of D area of Mughals after his death. D Scindia of Gwalior, gaekwad of baroda who are elected MPs today is prof of that. British won north india from Peshwas/Marathas, not from Mughals. Aurangazeb worst Delhi(Not India) ruler, Akbar was little better

@gojetafu Although he also had wars with Guru Gobind Singh, Most of his last 20 years he was in Deccan (Now Maharashtra) to defeat Marathas. He lost most of his military might and wealth. But could not defeat Marathas. He died there itself

Afterwards Marathas and later Peshwas of Maharashtra concord entire north India. The maximum till Atak, present day near Afagan Border.
