dude, if you wanna increase ur top end, get a bbk 80mm throttle body. it'll compensate for the long intake runners. trust me, my 05' is supercharged, and it made 26 more hp at 5600 rpm after I swapped the throttle body.
I am debating it... $300 right? I really want a new intake manifold though! But nobody makes one. My cams should run power to 6700. But I can't get it to rev more than 6000.
yeah dude, seriously, get the throttle body. summit has them for like $310 or sumthin. u probly should have it dyno tuned after tho, also, what fuel do you run??? if you get the body, and get it tuned with a 93 octane tune, u should be making atleast 320 HP at the wheels, probly a few more. it woke my supercharger up big time
05ROUDHED: hey, I was using my phone to relpy and I hit spam instead of reply!! Sorry! But ya, I got the TB and it was hell getting the computer to read the voltage right. I also installed an xpipe. Went to a different shop up in Memphis to tune it.. The guy was shocked when he saw how bad my truck was tuned. He fixed te weird power curve and it makes 301hp and 350tq now.. But it holds a really good, flat curve now. 1/4 @ 14.2 @ 95mph. 0-60 5.3 seconds.
301 rwhp and 320 rwtq...it should be much more...bc my cams start to make power at 5100 RPM, but it drops off due to lack of airflow in my intake manifold, the runners are too long. I've been trying to replace it. I out run the Hemi's just fine.. I can out run my buddy's 5.7 tundra. My best 60' is 1.82 @ 27.3. I am going to replace my gear, i have 4.10:1 but want the 4.56:1 gears. Simulation software shows with my set up it will help alot and increase top speed bc i can run in 4th gear then.
i have a 99 f150 also bro with the same mods that you have, although my stall is a 2400-2600 RPM, rightnow i don't have the sct tune because i'm running 105 octane ethanol and i need to get it custom tunned for it with the sct x-cal, nice truck, are u sure ur running 320 HP? have you tried racing the Dodge Hemi's? they still beat me by a truck or truck and a half, i don't know my trucks HP rate thats the reason i'm asking, sweet ride.

@ashtrey05 do the 3v 4.6 mustang intakes fit the 5.4? do any of the 4.6 mustang 5.4 parts fit?
