Great song and great band o'l Marty and the Superlatives!!! BUT....I think this version was pre recorded. Not 100% sure about it, but there's certain little subtle things that I picked up that leads me to believe it was prerecorded. 1st: I clearly hear an acoustic guitar strumming out rhythm 2nd: The drums are too aggressive and Harry Stinson seems to be just not playing at all. 3rd: Marty pulls off of the microphone WAy to early during of the little harmonies at the end of the song.
Is this song on any of his cd's? I cant find it anywhere and I love this song. Then again Marty Stuart is my country hero. And yes I did get to meet him. A down home countryman. I totally agree miccajames.
Such great tune. @BOHUNTER , If you do get to meet him, you will not be disappointed. Was lucky enough to see him do a solo show a few weeks back and it was amazing. He's very gracious to his fans.
