haha nice vid me and my buddies are making a video this winter because we get quite a bit of powder in newfoundland and i also have a tundra and a tundra 2
lol bud ive watched some of your vids and you can handle a sled :P i ahve the same one as you but i think its time for us to get some new sleds and really start riding lol
It all melted down to what you see there... I'm in southern ontario, so powder lasts for a week if we're lucky, then warm weather turns it into this stuff! Still fun riding though.
I do my share of tipping too! Just practice I guess and watch what type of snow you have. This snow was about 3" of heavy dense stuff on top of a hard base. If it's just a hard base then I can't really ride this way because the track doesn't slide at all. Also make sure all the steering pivot are tight, the more steering slop the harder it is to control the one ski that your riding on.
I have two tundras, one we use for ice fishing and I should try some ski plates as its tippy going two up. The other one I just use at my place for this kind of stuff so the narrow stance is good. Believe it or not I was thinking about narrowing the stance abit so I can lean the sled over even easier on hardpack. I have to say its nearly as fun as playing in deeper snow.
i like the dog :>)
