The pioneer title would go to older bands like Slipknot, Disturbed, and (I know Im gonna get hate for this) Linkin Park. They introduced it, but Enter Shikari definitely improved and perfected it. And as for Asking Alexandria and Attack Attack!? They just said "Needs more chug chug rawr" and created feces with their anuses that they called instruments.

They've only got a bit popular since 2007 and that's it. Nothing much has changed apart from the fact that the Electronic sound in their music is evened out with the Metal sound. In 2007 the Metal sound completely took over the Electronic sound. Now it's much more evened out.
