Totally regret it. I spent over 150 hours on the game and grind most of my core 6 pokemon to 100. Plus the fact that I was on 149/150 pokemon , just missing electabuzz. I never knew what Prof Oak was going to say when I got that magical 150...

Egh brings back the first time I fought him...wasn't actually expecting him after lance for some stupid unknown reason and bam, he methodologically beat out each and every one of my team... Sucked having to start over.

I didn't beat the original games, so I knew Gary was at the end by the time I played Leaf Green. Now, it took me a few tries to even get to Lance, since my team was all level 50. But the first time I got to Lance, I beat him, used the last of my items (Pre elite four, I never used any items ever) and had a fully restored team and beat Gary. It was a pain in the ass, but god damn I was too lazy to level my Pokemon.
