@0caseyhalo The other video had an explanation about how I fell and shot someone while the camera was off. This one is the short edit with the HUD and I left that part out. So it wouldn't have made sense to count the 7th kill without explanation. You're the first person who's pointed that out :)

This was an old video so I don't use any of this now, it was done with Ulead8 and a Sony HC20 mounted with ducttape and a hard drive case, I drew the HUD in fireworks. Now I use a ContourHD with a proper mount and a custom made plexi case and edit in Premier CS3. I export 720P MP4 for youtube, quality comes out well. Hope that helps :)

I'm alsow using a Countour HD and I have try every possible format but the video quality is bad, I use Vegas 5 or 7 and the MOV file is not reconice by this softwear , so I have to change format and then is went all goes BAD! , I'm also runnig a spor cammera that I got from e-bay for $80 half the size of the Contour and uses the same minisd cars and get very good quality and more clear video it recors in AVI format.

400fps pistol is over the top, that's good for an AEG at a distance but too much for a pistol. Wear a face mask and establish a 10M+ min distance would be my advice. Bare skin will get badly welted at close range with that

Chris, it says in the vid you use a jg styre aug? how good is it? i was looking at the JG styre aug military vers. and is it better than the echo 1 phantom 2 styre aug?

it's the same gun. Echo1 is JG. I don't like the scope on the military version so I have the civ version with a red dot. The older versions trigger contacts wear out over extended periods but the new edition has a MOFSET to prevent that. It's an excellent gun all round and I swear by it (tried many guns)

It should, you should ask first though, there's a lot of old stock floating around. The mosfet version is pretty new. I installed a computerized version in mine after the trigger contacts burned out (took 30,000+ to do that). I use an 11.1V lipol now.

Lol dang you took my idea. I was planning on making the ultimate FPS video. First off I was going to attempt a goggle mounted camera so it was real FPV not First...gun...view? Then with my friends I was going to add effects like a red frame when shot a lot. This was pretty cool just makes me want to try my idea more!

it doesn't work very well with a helmet cam. You can't see what the gun is shooting at very well and it's too shaky. You have much better control over the shaking and view direction if it's on the gun. I found it works much better mounted on the side than the top. I tried through the aimpoint and through a scope but it didn't work nearly as well as this. good luck with your video, send me a link when you're done :)

No what I was planning is getting like one of those micro cams and get some special goggles that have a lot of extra room off to the side and is still clear. Then I'd stick the camera is there so it's as close to my eye as possible. Then it would look more like a fps as people would see exactly what I'm seeing. The sites probably wounldn't line up exactly but they'd get what I'm firing at after a while.

The MP7 doesn't have enough range or power, it's mostly a backup weapon. Between the AUG and SCAR it's a matter of personal taste. I use the AUG becuase of the camera. It's much easier to hold the AUG level because of it's design. The company and internals matter the most for an AEG so I would consider that first. My 2cents is that the scar looks a lot better and has more options for it.

I mounted the camera with a mini tripod on the side. I secured it with elastic rope and the screw mount. I drew all the pictured for the background in fireworks and exported them into Ulead Video Studio Pro 8. The text is done in 3 title layers and the lines and crosshairs are done as 2 more graphic layers.

yup, I find the AUG to be the only gun I can run around with and keep it pointed forward. M4, AK, G36 etc tend to point at the ground while running because of the balance. Going to make more once it's not 40c in the shade
