My child had the Meningitis jab and two days later he was fighting for his life in a hospital. There was another child on the same ward of the same age which had also had the same jab two days prior, my child survived the other baby was not so lucky.
My son became withdrawn and distant overnight we were so worried that it might be permanent fortunately it was not but it took him a couple of years to recover from the damage which the vaccine had caused.
Chronic infection from live vaccines has been documented long before Wakefield et al postulated this possibility in relation to the MMR vaccine and it's link to autistic regression in a subset of children. It's hardly a revolutionary proposition. The church of vaccinology, like most organised religions, has been subsidised for far too long by the taxpayer. These vaccines are causing long term disability and chronic illness in a growing percentage of the population.

God! You lot are so narrow minded. We dont just have to do what everyone else does. In Britain we are allowed to choose whether or not to vaccinate, luckily.
Vaccinations have strange preservative ingredience that i wouldnt want in my body, and are grown on monkey tissue, if that monkey had a cold... you getthat thrown in for free! nice.
I am educated, and i am able to research things for myself and then choose.
Are you aware that these "strange preservative ingredience" are harmlessly broken down by the liver before being excreted? And as for the "monkey having a cold", that is just bullshit, where's the science and research (which you seem to value) behind that?
I am opposed to making the MMR vaccination purely optional, actually. In my borough, MMR vaccination uptake rates are reported to be only 43% and in Greater London they are just below 50%. There are some people who are genuinely medically unable to receive the vaccine, but they will be left extremely vulnerable to infection if those around them --nearly all of whom are able to receive the vaccine--are not vaccinated. A proper public health strategy requires mass vaccination against such illness.
Sorry, that was slightly vicious sarcasm. I feel that saying you need to make a choice, is stating the obvious. It's not jus a choice for yourself, however, but a choice for your children, and one that can impact other children.
Faced with that kind of a decision to make, the techniques used by science to judge the safety of a vaccine is more reliable than what your nan told you, or what happened to one person, or two people, or a few people.
I agree with the caller. I think so called "science" is a lie. All it is a seriese of imprically measured tests where the results are measured and then tested again to see if the results can be duplicated. I much prefer going by what I imagine to be true in my mind. This way always works. I think something is true, then I look in my imagination. So far I have a 98% sucess rate (I admit I was wrong about cows being able to talk).
Ah yes Jeni comes from the "touch wood" school of thought about stopping diseases, by touching a piece of wood this will stop someone getting ill, whereas vaccinations are stupid. My god, she's got a radio show, she gets paid for this, I would not have thought someone so wrong could get on the radio
Christ. Letting people like this to spray their poison over the airwaves is dangerous, man. "If your childs immune system is strong enough it will fight and it will grow and it will be strong." What, against measles mumps and rubella? Someone shut her down.
I actually quite agree, but the problem is, it won't be the stupid dying in this case, it will be the children. Same with jehovas witness - I don't mind them refusing blood for themselves, but I think it is criminal for them to deny their children this help.
AHAHA!!!! if you scaremonger? what the hell do you think you are doing?!?! i am just amazed by this - it gets worse and worse. I really hope someone who's child died of measles rings in but i can't see that happening. It might downplay the mindless dribble.
MERCURY??? does the MMR jab contain any noticeable levels if any mercury?!?! what the hell is wrong with these people?!?! The stupid bitch is a homeopath - what should i have expected?!?! i Hate these people!! Never trust anyone who says "i'm not an expert BUT" or "i just have a feeling" AND WHY ARE THEY OBSESSED BY CHILDHOOD DISEASES!!!!!! CHILDREN DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HOW ARE THEY GOOD!!!!! I AM GETTING VERY ANGRY NOW!!!!!!
I understand your pain. If you can't tolerate anymore then at least go to part 5 to hear her yell over Yasmin. It's truly awful, but Yasmin wins for us.
The guest who says that vaccination is totally unnecessary contradicts herself when she says that children should go ahead and get childhood diseases to boost their immunity against the disease later in life. Vaccination fools the body into thinking that it has the disease and causes it to produce exactly the same antibodies that would be produced upon proper infection. Why can't someone explain to these ignorant people how vaccines work?
Exactly you moron! Your not an expert! You have observed things which you do not understand and you think that qualifies you to reject the findings of the thousands of educated people who actually do understand these things and propagate your conjured nonsense.
Vaccines boost the immune system, and they do it better than needlessly suffering the illnesses.
I heard what your homeopath said. And I know that getting homeopathic medicine works exactly as well as not getting it at all.
Strictly speaking, homeopathy is not the same as providing no treatment because it does produce a placebo effect. The practice of giving people fake medicine to produce a placebo effect is, however, rather suspect.

If you vaccinate you are playing roulette.

1:00 'trying to sanitise everything'. What does she think that a vaccine is, if not a deliberate infection of a person to produce an immune response?
You aren't trying to kill the virus or bacteria, you are trying to improve the child's immune system. GAAAR, the stupid, it hurts.

it is YOUR choice, my nan told me to expose my son to chicken pox. I had mumps and was vaccinated too.

My uncle told me to strip and not tell anyone about what he was about to do.
Clearly, it is YOUR choice, when you give in to anecdotes or the biased/uninformed opinions of someone you respect.
