  • how do you like the 589s? Do they vibrate at high speeds. I have a 09 800R and with the factory tires at 78 mph it like a catty. Im wanting Big Horns but no one has them right now in 26. :(

  • Hey nice vid. Ive got the same wheeler, so ive got a question. With those 27inch tires are you snapping cv shafts?????? And either way, whats your riding style?

  • @madjack901 Snapping the CV Shafts: NO. Snapping the Rear CV Joints: Oh Hell Yeah. I snapped both seperately at differant points in time, Said forget OEM and got some Heavy Duty Outboard CV Joints and havn't had a problem. My Riding style? 3/4 to Full Throttle and sideways basically.

  • How long will 5 gallons of gas last in miles

  • @Derek130b The way a quad is driven, theres no reason to even estimate such a thing because it varies tremendously. Flat out 5 Gallons wouldn't last very long at all. I used to burn about 1.5 to 2 Gallons every Hour of riding.

  • When the diff is locked is there a speed limiter

  • @Derek130b No but the steering is so hard with the Diff Lock on, I wouldn't recommend it. Not to mention, Grizzlys are gas guzzlers even in 2WD, 4WD Locked keeps her extra thirsty.

  • What is a clutch kit?

  • @GHOSTthaHOST Aftermarket components for the Centrifugal Clutch.

  • it does 74+, like makaveli087 said, slowly but surely, i got some headwork and clutching done on mine, it gets up there quick now! and such a smooth ride!!!

  • I find that mine hauls right up until about 65-68 and then it takes a bit to squeeze the last bit out of her. I am on 27's without a clutch kit though so my experience probably differs from stock.

  • im gettin a raptor 660

    next year

  • Awesome, man. Raptors are great. Same engine (well...about 97% of it anyways) as the Grizz.

  • I dont think that grizz would do 74 mph..

  • I wouldn't lie to you my friend. I've done it. 68 to 74 is a bit slow but it gets there. Its easiest on pavement ofcourse.

  • Nope, You didn't. Sorry. =0(

  • looks like fun cant wait to get one this summer

  • Sick60,lol

i'll have to ask my buddy how fast his 660 goes wide open

,is urs 74mph with big or small tires ?

my buddys 3yr old 660 that we beat the shit out of and has a top end knock will beat my other buddys brand new grizz 700efi hardcore

  • Top Speed of all stock 660's is 72-74mph. Mine does it on 27's. 25's are factory size. I Like the new 700 alot, test rode it @ the dealership. Definately doesnt have a noticable amount more power but its smoother with the EFI and the Power Steering is fantastic.

  • yhea but you know what's stupid,,

the power steering doesn't work in diff lock ,

    which is ghey

i installed a jet kit on my buddys 660 ,may-b thats why it beats the stock 700?

    wouldnt think so but may-b

i would think the 700 would kick the 660's ass

but it's not even close on top end

  • Really? No P/S w/ DiffLock on...I havn't heard of that but thats where you need it most on these. My 660 with the locker on, its like steering a bus without power steering.

Stock for Stock, the 700 would be quicker. Its essentially the exact same motor as the 660cc but displacement is increased to 686cc, and add EFI. Stock jetting is WEAK on the 660's too, I can see a decent power gain from rejetting.

  • yhea ,may-b the jetting just give it that little bit more top end to beat the 700

,the 700 prob has more bottem end for shure

and yhea it's kinda pointless if it don't work in diff lock eh,

    it's stupid

  • power steering works all the time except for when your stopped. The diff lock with power steering is really easy to steer. Works great on my 700.

  • Cool, I was wondering about that. I test rode the 700 when it first came out but ofcourse I didn't bother using the diff lock. Damn good machines.

  • Yep the grizzly is a really good machine. This weekend hopefully im picking up a 08 can am outlander 800, should be a fun comparison.

  • you said you don't see a difference between the 660 and the 700 then ur drunk it has way more power and speed

  • Drunk perhaps, Junior. But I own one and have ridden the other and I stand by my statement - and I never said I didn't see a differance.

  • yeah and i own both and the 700 is about 20 times better then the 660

  • Sounds like bullshit to me. You can afford two $9000 quads but not a Camera? You kids and your dreams.

  • you want a vid i will post one tommorrow and you will see that i have both and you will see that the 700 is way better so i will post it as 700 vs. 660

  • Yeah - I look forward to seeing that.

  • I don't think we're gonna see his comparison vid....what a shame. Ha!

  • Nice job, Keep the videos coming!

  • Thanks, Daniel! =0)

  • grizzly's r sick machines mine will only do 70mph (stock)

  • WOWO. how many acers is it all together?

  • I'd have to estimate 100+. Theres still plenty of woods left up there. Where its paved, its because they're building a neighborhood, that was all deep woods a little over 2 years ago.

  • thats nice man that really is. I just have 20 acers myself, but it keeps me happy. would be nice to have more but, such as life. besides Gas is killing me with cutting the grass as it is lol. I have 2 riding lawn mowers with 25&27Hp V-twins on them... not the most fuel efficent! and i also have my deutz but i just use that to cut the Tall stuff. anyway beautiful property you guys have there!

  • is that all your land?

  • No. Not the Paved parts. It used to be in my family, going back to my Great GrandFather.

  • Hey, Rob...this is very intense! Amazing vehicle! :) Jack
