  • too fucking cool!

  • This tune has what I love about pre-eighties Quincy Jones, especially the first 17 seconds.

  • @titusact4scene2 Hope I'm not polluting with too many comments here. In honor of jazzy's huge efforts in sharing great music with us, this is my feature for the coming week. Please, what is Quincy Jones connection to this music? My searches came up dry. That first 17 seconds you mentioned is pure lounge, a great sound! Within my music catalog of over 600 playlists is one for Lounge Favorites - it's headed your way. hope you check out what else I've got playlisted. chuck

  • @chkjns I should have been a little clearer. The first 17 seconds of this tune puts me in the mind of "Soul Bossa" and "If I ever lose this Heaven",both by Quincy Jones. As far as I know,Mr.Jones had nothing to do with this piece. The connection was purely subjective on my part.

  • @titusact4scene2 Great observations, I'm hearing you loud and clear. I'm sure that jazz pianists today would love to offer their rendition of this song, if they only knew it. Those strings and flutes reference the era, with Dudley Moore's great melodic/harmic sense giving the music its exquisite taste.

  • I absolutely love this tune! I'm thinking moonlit night, good wine, lobster, warm salty ocean breeze,on a yacht off the coast of Rio,expensive perfume, a sweet soft voice, with breath like "Carnation milk",and lots and lots of ill gotten money!! Lots and lots and lots of M-O-N-E-Y.

  • Love this album! Thanks Jazz! ; )

  • @mancmuso1 Jazzy posts such fantastic music, I just made this my featured video for the coming week! Come check out over 600 playlists on my channel's 'music hall of fame'. There's a list for every year since 1900, & I'm always picking up music like this to add to the mix. chuck

  • excellent late-nite jam. great post, be careful watching the video the whole way thru, i think i had a mini seizure ;)

  • Great great tune, fantastic bossa

  • @billevanstrio Nobody EVER notices the bossa! Bossa's the magic within HUNDREDS of hits & lots of 'beautiful music' like this. I guess a musician like you would know though, eh? Within my 600 playlists are about ten, just for bossa songs, divied up by genres. My playlists cover 400 artists & every year since 1900, so I added this to 1968. jazzy always posts amazing music & has really helped me TONS with music for my playlists. Hope you stop by & check out my 'library'. chuck
