@chkjns I should have been a little clearer.The first 17 seconds of this tune puts me in the mind of "Soul Bossa" and "If I ever lose this Heaven",both by Quincy Jones.As far as I know,Mr.Jones had nothing to do with this piece.The connection was purely subjective on my part.

Those strings and flutes reference the era, with Dudley Moore's great melodic/harmic sense giving the music its exquisite taste.
I absolutely love this tune! I'm thinking moonlit night,good wine,lobster,warm salty ocean breeze,on a yacht off the coast of Rio,expensive perfume, a sweet soft voice,with breath like "Carnation milk",and lots and lots of ill gotten money!! Lots and lots and lots of M-O-N-E-Y.

@billevanstrio Nobody EVER notices the bossa! Bossa's the magic within HUNDREDS of hits & lots of 'beautiful music' like this. I guess a musician like you would know though, eh? Within my 600 playlists are about ten, just for bossa songs, divied up by genres. My playlists cover 400 artists & every year since 1900, so I added this to 1968. jazzy always posts amazing music & has really helped me TONS with music for my playlists. Hope you stop by & check out my 'library'. chuck
