We, honestly, have one of the BEST teams in NY but it is still recognized as just something us girls, and few guys, do to look like sluts. -.- Seriously, you have no idea how many fights I have gotten into WITH EVERYBODY about cheerleading. People who say that it isn't a sport wouldn't last a day trying it. Thanks for all the supporters :D

Cheerleading is a sport.The uniforms are just that uniforms.What sport doesn't have uniforms?Now would I compare Cheerleading to football? No.Not because it's cheerleading but because they are two diffrent sports.I wouldn't compare soccer to basketball because they both are two different sports that require skills that the other doesn't use.I doubt any football player can do the stuff they do in cheerleading and vice versa.

@MikeAM78 Dude cheerleading is a sport. It has a uniform like most others, My school has uniforms and so does my team. And ours aren't "skimpy" they are a full long sleeve top with a skirt kind of like the Cyclones or the non "skimpy" ones. Next year on my older team we get cropped tops, or "Skimpy" it's just like a school uniform in a different form, the boys on the Hellcats have long pants, how is that "skimpy" don't just others. They are in COLLAGE on the show too!

I am a dancer and I have trained with cheerleaders and those girls kill it EVERY time. I have seen them compete with broken toes and fingers, sprained ankles, pulled muscles and any kind of illness.
