Actually never mind, I found out how to save.

I figured that you wouldn't need to use steam saves. The interface is a little cumbersome and only needs to be switched to using the game saves rather than the default Steam saves. Nothing complicated, just didn't try everything yet. Besides, all you have to do is press E at the beams of light shooting out of the ground.

Alright, now the only thing to do is figure out how to save the game. =\

Okay, I just got some instructions.

1.)Click on the install in the mounted disk folder for the automatic DirectX install.

2.)Make the new Steam account.

3.)Right Click the Steambackup application and run it as administrator.

4.)Select exactly where you want the game's core files to be installed in a folder on its own.

4.)Copy and paste everything in the Crack folder into the said Dungeon Siege III folder you've just installed.

5.)Run the executable that you just pasted in to play.

6.) cheers. :P

I'm sorry but you're so vague when you explain it step by step. I've tried a similar download and it had similarly vague instructions. The below comments say that it works perfectly for the English cracked version but I'm thinking that they know something that I don't. For one, what do you do for the crack? I tried putting it in every conceivable folder and then I just gave up and tried them all. No matter what I did, the steam client still warranted a registered serial number.
