The complete truth is there was a Gundrak raid, but it was cut, lots of things were cut in Wrath and Cataclysm, this is mainly because many of the original devs are now working on Blizzards new MMO called "Titan"

that Snake maybe connected to the cut Gundrak raid, or maybe it was really just chucked there by a stupid artist, who knows

One of the main problems with their dungeons and the way the game function works is that small things like that is never noticed, i meet people who went WTF to the alternative routes in Nexus after they they went there as 85 goofing around, and it's really such a shame because there is put alot of work into the looks of the dungeons
