This was a huge disappointment after Catherine Wheel's early singles and EPs, and the first two LPs. Clearly, it was not aged any better with time. In fact, is sounds worse than it did in 1995.

@leamanc your opinion.
I think I would need all their CDs in order to get a compilation that I could listen to all the way through on a regular basis...but this track would probably be on it (it's pretty kick-ass)

@taradead Indeed, my opinion, and I don't pretend that it's better than anybody else's opinion! :-)
I just say that as someone who was a huge fan of first-wave shoegazer bands, at the time they all came out. Most of the original shoegazers either changed their style (Moose went alt-country/jangle; Lush went Britpop; Ride tried to become Buffalo Springfield, etc.). Others broke up or disappeared (MBV, et. al.). Catherine Wheel turned grunge and I didn't like it. If you do, that's cool! :-)

I've been jammin to this for 12 years. It's great to see some video. Unfortunately, YT seems to have a ptoblem with the stream. I'll try again in a few days. I have a good broadband connection, & this is the only time there has been any problem.
