@CartmanLandZ You destroy them by dealing damage enough to remove all the counters, or your opponent willingly destroys it by removing the last counter to activate a ability.
just one question a planeswalker IS or ISNT a creature spell card? can it attack or defend? how can i kill an enemy planeswalker? its more like an enchanmente or what?
Planeswalkers are what they say...Planeswalkers. And sence they aren't creatures, you can play any ability when it comes to play as long as you add or remove counters accordingly.
wow im sorry i accidentally copied and pasted that... but anyways, say i attacked a planes waler with 4 counters on it for 3... it wouldnt die, and the counters would still be onit? im confused
Remember that when a Planeswalker is in play, it can be attacked directly by creatures. It can also be directed damage that would normally be directed towards a player.
With that said, if a Planeswalker has ANY loyalty counters on it it's still in play. Consider it like a creatures toughness. And when it has 0 or less counters on it, it then dies.
im still a little confused how do the planeswalkers get the extra tokens put onto themselves? do they jsut get added at each turn or can you add them on whenever you want.
Planeswalker abilities can have the planeswalker add or lose counters based on the ability. You can only play it once during your turn, while nothing else in on the stack AKA sorcery speed.
how can u destroy them?

@NakedSamauri and 1 damage to it = - 1 counter.

@MagicDota If i do recall correctly, I think i bumped the mic.

so how do you remove or add counters?
TremorFang 2 years ago
you just declare that your activating the ability, like for example.
If i had Ajani in play:
I'll add a counter to gain 2 life....
Once again, it can only be played during your turn at sorcery speed.

It's not a creature card....It's a PLANESWALKER...lol
It can't attack or defend...just use abilities on the card....
It's more like a 2nd player because your opponent(s) can attack it directly, and re-direct any damage delt to you, to the planeswalker.

so overpowered..
Sandokan4 2 years ago
Yeah...but we have to get used to them for another year because the Lorwyn planes walkers are reprinted in Magic: Core Set 2010......
NakedSamauri 2 years ago
@Sandokan4 Lorwyn, M10, M11, Worldwake, Conflux....the lists keeps getting bigger and bigger lol
NakedSamauri 1 year ago
If the action removes more counters than there are counters on the planeswalker, it cannot be used.

Planeswalkers arent creatures right? thus it dosent have summoning sickness? So i can play the ability on my first turn?

Oh... And I forgot to ask, what happens when counters get to 0?
GooGooDls 2 years ago
When there are no more counters left on the planeswalkers, he/she just dies and hits the graveyard......
NakedSamauri 2 years ago
hom many times can you use an abillity per turn?
GooGooDls 2 years ago
You use them one per turn only during your turn....
NakedSamauri 2 years ago
does that mean i can activate all those abilities in one turn once?
ghostfire1234 2 years ago
You can only activate ONE of then PER Turn...
NakedSamauri 2 years ago
oh ok, just trying to clarify that.
ghostfire1234 2 years ago
Once per turn, they are over powered by themselves, so they can only be played at anytime you can play a sorcery.

If you play in tournaments, IT IS A MUST to put them in ANY constructed deck.
They have been life savers, in Limited tournaments and in constructed tournaments are no different.
