Well I don't think a real wolf would keep running around attacking the air... I bet tat they would do what they do here, wait paciently for their prey to come out of the water... maybe follow a little yes, but not go balistic and attack the air and the walls for no reason like the core wolves did...
I mean do you expect a wolf to attack nothing when the wolf clearly saw it's prey go someplace in the water... They would probably pace around waiting, but not attack air and stone walls like in the original TR.... and I'm not saying they would do what they did in anniversary... I'm just saying anniversary is a bit closer to what wolves would do...
also when the reviews say AI is better in anniversary they mean pattern of attack, not how retarded they look when waiting, and yes I agree that they are retarded in anniversary, but that doesn't stop them from being retarded in the original... oh well I like the T-rex in anniversary... LONG LIVE THE T-REX! WHOOOOOOOOO!
oh and they don't let you fight Larson, Kincade or THE KID... They give the story away too easily, in the original they keep you wanting to watch more, and that sucks... but the gameplay was fine... so don't be all pissy thinking I loved the game, I loved the gameplay but not the movies, fight sequences, or the retarded grapple that never grapples anything... I like how she has a ragdoll effect when she dies... that is why this game is worth buying XD but i still h8 the wolves
Try that with smal (red) dinos. Put Lara on a rock, I think it's in the right corner. All three of them will step infront of you and wave their tails and look at you stupidly, like dogs, waiting for a cookie

... but i found a couple more wolfs standing and waiting and doing nothing, even tho Lara got near to them.
The other one of them didnt move even if i shot it. ... it was kind of rude cause it looked like she shot it cold blood, lol. I have it on video so stay tuned lol.

No, i dont expect a wolf to attack nothing, and they dont do that in TR1. Watch my video:
Tomb Raider Wolf AI (the original)
and find out how the wolves act like real wolves would do; they walk around the area impatiently.
In Anniversary, they just look stupid, standing there doing nothing.

Well, it's not actually. The wolf AI is made so they are triggered to follow Lara when ever she is on the same level with them.
This same goes for dinos like "ALIENmantis" just told. If Lara stands on a rock (not a high rock even) they just stand there.
This is all because the AI sucks.
