  • can anyone lecture me about whats the difference between a micro four thirds and a conventional lenses? And which is better?

  • @dlobrown8888 Micro four thirds is a format used by Olympus PEN and Panasonic interchangeable lens cameras. It has to do with the lens mount (i.e. you can't put a canon lens on a sony camera without an adapter). Micro four thirds lenses are optimized for the Contrast-detect auto focus which is the one that m4/3 cameras use as opposed to phase detection autofocus used on most other interchangeable lens cameras. M4/3 lenses are best on m4/3 cameras.

  • exactly what I've been looking for!

    many thankses!
