i think it was jesse norman at the mandela or mercury tribute concert who told the audience with a simple wave of the hand to stop singing along to amazing grace. more artistes should do it. it's extremely annoying. it's also annoying when artistes like robbie williams constantly stops singing to let the audience take over the song when i paid him to sing it.
