  • This is beautiful, and I thank you for the amazing post of this video! I wish you peace and many beautiful days! 10* Roses:) God bless you!

  • are u guys really arguing over a prayer

  • This isn't remotely Catholic. It's Protestant.

  • You have to be kidding me! The prayer is "Hail Mary," a Catholic Prayer. Most protestants would Never think of singing let alone pray this prayer. LISTEN to the words!! Hail Mary, full of grace, our Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen. Beautiful Song, Glorious Prayer...
  • Yes, I know it's a Catholic prayer. I pray the Rosary every day. The Hail Mary is an incredibly powerful prayer. I AM Catholic, and I didn't mean that this prayer isn't a Catholic prayer. I meant that the way it is sung is in a Protestant manner. *In my opinion*

One thing though, it's not "our Lord is with thee" it's " 'the' Lord is with thee."

  • @StMarysofWestfield

Thanks for posting.. and thanks for deffending the Roman Catholic Church, The Hail Mary and the latin!

Just would like to comment that it's not "our Lord is with thee", but "The Lord is with thee"

    Best regards,

  • yeah, StMaryofWestfield is right....the Protestants never believed in the assumption of saints and hence, they have no reason to include this into any of their 'prayers?'.

  • Yes it a prayer... It is also Scripture.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. (Lk 1:28)

Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus (Lk 1:42)

  • Other than the Latin and the Gaeilge, this sounds like modern commerical Protestant music.

  • Then why would it say the Hail Mary? Seriously, with some people, anyone who isn't Catholic the way they are, is Protestant. I had to block someone because of that.

  • Oh and like the Irish at 3:24 - nice touch

  • Beautiful video. Very calming and reverent. Pax +

  • Amen!

Although it bugs me when he says "tecum." He says "ticum" instead. lol Oh well.
