The whole world knew about the deaths (I am in Arizona and I watched the parade live on the internet) but the people there did not! Its so bizarre!

Unfortunately this video is like watching people enjoying themselves on the Titanic.

@RpKingman Yes, it is bizarre. But the venue was incredibly large and spread out over many blocks... plus there were over a million people there!

@ResetLiveGrow i was also there and we didn't know what happened, but then 2 hours after the disaster, all my friends and i got many sms messages from our friends who where not on the loveparade and after that we couldn't realize what happened. that was fucking crazy.

@RpKingman How can the people there learn about the tragic events if they had not seen them by themselves ? They were at a party with loud music. If you wanted to know what was goin' on there you had to listen to the radio or watch TV. People there didn't ... they were partying. But yes ... Titanic ... apt comparison.

@VJDanny1979 I totally understand. I agree with you. I'm just saying its strange to think about so many people (hundreds who were injured but didn't die) being mixed with perfectly oblivious people. I would have thought rumours spread faster. Its an interesting experiment in social behavior to discover that people were there all night and still didn't learn about the events.

@RpKingman I think the area was big and crowded enough that you didn't get to know what was goin' on some hundred meters away from you. And : it was loud too ! Not easy to spread news there ... in such a noisy surrounding. (You had to shout to tell the news).
