Hulk can match Thor who is just as strong as Superman (All you superman fanboys just realize that Thor is just as strong as Superman). If Hulk can match Thor, he can match superman. This isn't a hard choice ever. Doomsday killed Superman. Hulk has the potential to be stronger than him. Superman wont finish the fight quickly enough to stop Hulk before reaching a power level where he'll just smash him. Also Superman has issues with green radioactive stones. Who's to say kryptonite doesn't have some gamma radiation? Last bits a stretch...but still Hulk > Superman all day every day. Hulk is strongest there is.

Doomsday get's strong with each death, and therefore each time he dies he comes back stronger. So even though he would continually get strong, Hulk's would match it and surpass it. Also most of the Hulk's you're used to seeing are being held back, when he is fully unleashed he beats

And from what I'm reading it wasn't just Superman who beat Imperiex, and he was vastly powered up and aided by outside characters/forces.

I have the books and Hulk takes the wrath of Sentry and they exchange blows and Sentry falls as Robert Reynolds while Bruce Banner stands seemingly unscathed. And it's literally the first line of his biography on Wikipedia and almost every time he's mentioned in the comics they say that his power is that of a million exploding suns.

OK. There are comic books called Dc Vs. Marvel where Superman and The Hulk did fight. Superman won quite easily actually. Hulk did his whole angry thing and superman told him to calm down or he would have to take him out, hulk didnt so he did. its a great comic series. btw they are old comics.

Hulk may be strong, but he cannot control himself, and that is one of the biggest flaws of his powers. Superman, however, might use his powers and intelligence a lot better. So in my opinion, Superman would win... and besides, Superman can dodge bullets, why not a giant, green fist?
Hulk wins we all witness that the longer hulk is in battle the better he fights. Superman has no tactical advantage ranged or not he will lose then again it would be a great match to watch

When is the last time Hulk's lifted anything in the Quintillion Ton Range? Forgetting that Superman's Strength is millions of times higher than Hulk's best feats of strength, he has a severe speed advantage and commonly jobbing beings of greater strength than himself (testament to his durability). Not to mention being able to move massive planets under a Red Star which drains him faster than Kryptonite (stamina).

Hulk swam through lava and with pure arm strength realigned Platonic plates.

Superman's flown thru RED stars, and then exerted nearly 40 Sextillion tons of Force. Realigning plate tectonics is only on the order of a trillion tons. Meaning in a weakened condition, Superman is on the order of 40 billion times stronger than Hulk's best calculable feat.
Doomsday was stronger than Superman, so it's moot.
@Vynjira What part isn't true? Hulk and Sentry trade blows and Reynolds transforms back and so does Banner. Hulk was saying the moment before Sentry attacked that he was done, and therefore probably would have changed back soon after that. So it only makes sense that after he defeated him he'd transform back. And Reynold was battered and bloody. Banner stood fine with glowing green eyes, and soon turned back into the Hulk and almost destoryed the planet with his footstep.

Juggernaut had already been cut off from Cyttorak when he fought War-Hulk, who was enhanced with Celestial Technology. Which is to say Hulk was not able to stop him under his own power, and Juggernaut was using up the residual power he had when he was cut off from Cyttorak.

The Hulk clearly stated what happened in the past is the past and things have changed (meaning he's not the same Hulk by far). As far as running before the fight was finished the Hulk also CLEARLY stated he didn't have time (and told Wolverine the same thing) to have another on of their battles. After he defeated Juggy and the X-Men he left.

Yes Juggernaut has a mystical ability that makes him unstoppable. He's also completely invulnerable and can increase his strength to the point he can punch holes in the fabric of the universe (something Superboy could do).

Put in a situation where pushed Hulk too could easily exert whatever magnitude of force you would like to put out there. That's the glory of a character who was defined as no upperbound, and not the writers change his powers based on the situation.

This isn't a hard choice ever. Doomsday killed Superman. Hulk has the potential to be stronger than him. Superman wont finish the fight quickly enough to stop Hulk before reaching a power level where he'll just smash him. Also Superman has issues with green radioactive stones. Who's to say kryptonite doesn't have some gamma radiation? Last bits a stretch...but still Hulk > Superman all day every day. Hulk is strongest there is.

Doomsday get's strong with each death, and therefore each time he dies he comes back stronger. So even though he would continually get strong, Hulk's would match it and surpass it. Also most of the Hulk's you're used to seeing are being held back, when he is fully unleashed he beats

And from what I'm reading it wasn't just Superman who beat Imperiex, and he was vastly powered up and aided by outside characters/forces.

I have the books and Hulk takes the wrath of Sentry and they exchange blows and Sentry falls as Robert Reynolds while Bruce Banner stands seemingly unscathed. And it's literally the first line of his biography on Wikipedia and almost every time he's mentioned in the comics they say that his power is that of a million exploding suns.

(which in perspective the Death Star produced more power than our Sun would in 1,000 years) So anyone who could destroy planets Death Star Style could easily be stated as having the power of a million exploding stars.

Superman's flown thru RED stars, and then exerted nearly 40 Sextillion tons of Force. Realigning plate tectonics is only on the order of a trillion tons. Meaning in a weakened condition, Superman is on the order of 40 billion times stronger than Hulk's best calculable feat.
Doomsday was stronger than Superman, so it's moot.

@Vynjira What part isn't true? Hulk and Sentry trade blows and Reynolds transforms back and so does Banner. Hulk was saying the moment before Sentry attacked that he was done, and therefore probably would have changed back soon after that. So it only makes sense that after he defeated him he'd transform back. And Reynold was battered and bloody. Banner stood fine with glowing green eyes, and soon turned back into the Hulk and almost destoryed the planet with his footstep.

Juggernaut had already been cut off from Cyttorak when he fought War-Hulk, who was enhanced with Celestial Technology. Which is to say Hulk was not able to stop him under his own power, and Juggernaut was using up the residual power he had when he was cut off from Cyttorak.

@Vynjira So when Juggy turned back into the "real" Juggarnaut after telling Cyttorak he'd do his bidding that wasn't really the real Juggarnaut is what you're saying??? I know that when they fought the 1st time (WWH) no that wasn't Juggy at his full power, After he basically sold his soul he became the one and only Juggarnaut. It was a good fight, but Hulk did best Juggy... Again...

@MPressive940 He didn't beat Juggernaut, their entire discussion is proof of what I've said. Juggernaut flat out states they've done this before and Juggernaut won. Hulk's response is to say what happened before is as dead as Juggernaut is gonna be.
Xavier comes out an distracts Juggernaut and Hulk uses that as his chance to bail out on the fight.
No different if Juggernaut charged into a building trying to hit Spiderman and then Spiderman ran away before Juggernaut came out.

The nail in the coffin is that Juggernaut wasn't trying to kill Hulk, Juggernaut was trying to reason with him. Hulk on the other hand stated his intention was to kill Juggernaut.
Did he kill Juggernaut? No.
Did he even KO Juggernaut? No.
Who left the battlefield? Hulk.
The Strongest Hulk has even been under his own power, and he still needed a distraction to get Juggernaut off him, and then he leaves without finishing the fight he started?
If that is besting then something is wrong.

@Vynjira Hulk EASILY beat Juggernaut before he had the power of Cttyorak. Afterwards it was a close fight, but Hulk DID beat him AGAIN. The Hulk clearly stated what happened in the past is the past and things have changed (meaning he's not the same Hulk by far). As far as running before the fight was finished the Hulk also CLEARLY stated he didn't have time (and told Wolverine the same thing) to have another on of their battles. After he defeated Juggy and the X-Men he left.

One last thing, Juggernaut wasn't trying to kill Hulk. He was only applying the strength he thought he would need to stop Hulk.

@MPressive940 Do you not understand that Cain Marko has no powers without Cyttorak? To say he beat Juggernaut before he had his powers, is like saying someone beat Iron Man without the armor.
Hulk didn't beat him, Hulk ran away because he couldn't beat Juggernaut EVEN THO he claimed he was going to kill Juggernaut because Hulk is different and wouldn't lose this time.
Special pleading, he said he'd kill Juggernaut. When he realized he couldn't beat Juggernaut he gave up and left.

@Vynjira HOWEVER he is in fact Unstopable, meaning once he is in motion he cannot be stopped. This feat has only been done by cosmically powered beings and Hulk, but only once. So Hulk cannot stop him usually but it isn't because he isn't stronger than him it's because the Juggernauts power is that his kinetic force of motion CANNOT be stopped. In a battle of sheer power Hulk wins pretty much every time. (This was proven in World War Hulk after Cain embraces the gem again)

@Grimbear13 Juggernaut has been de-powered since his return to the Marvel Universe, which was back in 1996 before he fought Onslaught. Even War-Hulk who was enhanced by celestial technology didn't fight Juggernaut at his full power.
Yes Juggernaut has a mystical ability that makes him unstoppable. He's also completely invulnerable and can increase his strength to the point he can punch holes in the fabric of the universe (something Superboy could do).
He is stronger than Hulk.

@Vynjira Hulk doesn't have an upper limit so he didn't "reach his limit" and change back. He can however change back from being rendered unconscious which has nothing to do with physical strength. Put in a situation where pushed Hulk too could easily exert whatever magnitude of force you would like to put out there. That's the glory of a character who was defined as no upperbound, and not the writers change his powers based on the situation.

Just because something has never been shown to have limits does not mean it doesn't have limits. In this particular case, it isn't even true that Hulk has never been shown to have limits.
Further, the same thing is said about Superman, while he is lifting several hundred quintillion tons.
Hulk's BEST feats are billions of times lower than Superman's AVERAGE feats, and both are stated as having no upper limits.

@Vynjira False the Beyonder states the Hulk has no limit to his strength so yes he actually DOESN'T have an upper limit. Superman however has had his strength and powers raised over the years to make him more and more of a preposterous piece of shit. Did you know originally he couldn't fly? And was just really durable? And his strength was relegated to feats that had relative terms? Hulk situation evolved over the years where as Superman just magically made new powers.

@Grimbear13 Beyonder was retconned, and he specifically noted that the Banner Persona was missing. So whatever he said wouldn't apply even if it wasn't retconned it would only apply to Bannerless Hulk who grew weaker instead of stronger.
Yes, from 1938 to late 1940s Superman couldn't fly.. he also was Human sent back in time by the last Man on Earth, and was based off "The Superman" a villain they created in 1933. In 1956 he became Kryptonian and was more powerful than he is now.

oh man...i really like the hulk more than supes...but really...anyone whos saying that hulk would beat him has no idea of supes or hulk...just google their feats and compare them...even world war hulk would get his ass kicked...supes punches alternated reality...REALITY!!!...as much as i love the green beast...he has no chance against the man in blue...but hey, we still got thor and he smashes supes anyday he wants...so cheer up marvelists :)

@Panokratable I'm not sure I follow you...Hulk beats Thor on a regular basis so why you think he'd take Superman down is beyond me. Had you said Thanos I'd whole heartadly agree. And comparing their feats doesn't mean anything outside that Marvel has consistency in their writing. Hulk's power has grown over the years but he's still grounded to his roots. Superman's power fluctuates per issue. Today he's punching reality tomorrow he loses to a normal man.

@RedMage86 Hulk's power absolutely fluxuates, but that's also part of his character design. Superman's power isn't supposed to change, Hulk's does based on his emotional state. And it should be noted, Wolverine has NEVER kicked Hulk's ass. He lacks the tools to successfully fight him.

Actually Wolverine has kicked Hulk's ass, and so has Captain America, both are attributed to Jobbing(or rather bad writing). It happens, which is why I pointed out Hulk was jobbing Sentry, which you seem to forgot when you started arguing that Banner was still standing and tried to imply Hulk was going easy on him..

It's so funny to listen to Hulk fan boys. The reality is ANYONE can beat the Hulk. All anyone needs to do is wait till he is nice and relaxed as Bruce Banner and then shoot him in the face....
