  • @iiIIjordanIIii Cheers - glad you appreciate it! Robby

  • YOU SHOULD MAKE A WATERLOO SUNSET TUTORIAL

  • @haydenjonesss Yeah - you're right. I should! I want to do Waterloo with my band, so no doubt that will spur me on to make a tuition video. Watch this space....

  • you look kind of like eric clapton

  • @guitarcar911 Really? well I wish I could play like him!

  • @robbyreal well your doing pretty good, so keep it up and who knows. :)

  • Your the dogs bollocks mate.

  • @joldielocks ha ha! great comment matey! thanks.

  • Really helpful video. I'm quite a novice, (I've been trying to teach myself for three years but, alas, I don't practice enough). Anyhow, I have been trying to teach myself to play this for a long time from tab and listening. I think your video is going to be a big help. Many thanks.

  • @liquorgirlsjazz Hey that's a great comment. Thanks. Keep it up! Robby

  • From Colorado- Thanks Robby Real- very nice- And to think this was the period when Ray's producer was forcing him to turn out hits for the promise of 10 pounds a week, as Ray tells it in X-Ray.

  • @Waterwizard100 Hey thanks for the nice comment. Yeah - we certainly are living in very different times.!

  • Brilliant!! Thank you :)

  • Hey Donkerooney, thanks for your great comment - that's what makes it worthwhile doing these videos! Good luck with your playing . Robby

  • @robbyreal thanks

  • I completely disagree! I think it's very difficult to communicate chord positions over a video on youtube and you did what you could by your playing and the chord patterns on the right, top handside. you didn't have to do this, but i'm so glad you did. thank you so much! it's really helped!

  • @BarneyD98 Cheers Barney!

  • good job, love this tune, i personally like the kinks bore than the beatles, i like the stones more too, although the seem to play more country tunes.

  • @johnnymac1986 Yeah, Ray Davies is one of the best songwriters of all time. I agree with you about comparing with The Beatles. Robby

  • @robbyreal i was just reading about beat bands, and it says alot of the bands from the london area had more of a blues influence, which is very apparent in the stones.

  • what are the tabs for the begginer version? Im struggling to see where your fingers are placed?

  • @manufourlyf Hi There, well I've added tabs and chord pattern onto the video (they come in at 20 secs). Hope it helps you. Cheers, Robby

  • TOO GOOD MAN i was searching for a quiet simple version and yours is the perfect !! Thank you very much =D

  • @TheKyoukai

Thanks for the great comment - glad you found it useful.

  • @robbyreal Of course tha tyou can be glad ^^ one of the most instructive video of Sunny Afternoon and i have to say that is not just a instructive video but a great cover too =D Maybe that i enjoy a bit too much but i really fell in love with this song so... x)

  • Thank you very much!!!!!!

  • @PopkornStar

    You're very welcome !!

  • nice can u tell me were to find a tab for the first one please nice guitar i gotta play with a shitty acoustic but its all good

  • Sorry but without chords on any kind of instruction I think claiming this to be a lesson is quite dubious.

  • I agree - as a beginner I'm still trying to figure out chords from watching...your "instruction" also doesn't explain the strumming patterns or the notes being plucked for the opening rift (are you just plucking the A string?) Look at what other guitar teachers show in their videos....much more helpful.

  • @GoRetroGirl Hi There, well I've added tabs and chord pattern onto the video (they come in at 20 secs). Hope it helps you. Cheers, Robby

  • Yeh, not bad! Why is your guitar like plugged?

  • Thanks. My guitar has a feedback cover over the soundhole to prevent feedback through the amp when I play live. Guess I was just too lazy to remove it when I made this vid.

  • Lovely job. Diggin' the lesson.

  • Cheers - I really appreciate your positive feedback.
