@haydenjonesss Yeah - you're right. I should! I want to do Waterloo with my band, so no doubt that will spur me on to make a tuition video. Watch this space....
Really helpful video. I'm quite a novice, (I've been trying to teach myself for three years but, alas, I don't practice enough). Anyhow, I have been trying to teach myself to play this for a long time from tab and listening. I think your video is going to be a big help. Many thanks.
From Colorado- Thanks Robby Real- very nice- And to think this was the period when Ray's producer was forcing him to turn out hits for the promise of 10 pounds a week, as Ray tells it in X-Ray.
I completely disagree! I think it's very difficult to communicate chord positions over a video on youtube and you did what you could by your playing and the chord patterns on the right, top handside. you didn't have to do this, but i'm so glad you did. thank you so much! it's really helped!
good job, love this tune, i personally like the kinks bore than the beatles, i like the stones more too, although the seem to play more country tunes.
@robbyreal i was just reading about beat bands, and it says alot of the bands from the london area had more of a blues influence, which is very apparent in the stones.
@robbyreal Of course tha tyou can be glad ^^ one of the most instructive video of Sunny Afternoon and i have to say that is not just a instructive video but a great cover too =D Maybe that i enjoy a bit too much but i really fell in love with this song so... x)
I agree - as a beginner I'm still trying to figure out chords from watching...your "instruction" also doesn't explain the strumming patterns or the notes being plucked for the opening rift (are you just plucking the A string?) Look at what other guitar teachers show in their videos....much more helpful.
Thanks. My guitar has a feedback cover over the soundhole to prevent feedback through the amp when I play live. Guess I was just too lazy to remove it when I made this vid.
Your lesson was more accurate than many here...thanks!

Sorry but without chords on any kind of instruction I think claiming this to be a lesson is quite dubious.
