After watching this version I checked the comments on the original ( now muted ) version and see that someone has already commented on the " ghost like " images that I saw ...
ie the "grey person" standing in the water at 1:40 and the face on the tree trunk at 2:12.
I would have run a mile !!
It must have been great seeing those genuine cowboys suddenly appearing on the trail ...perfect music for that part of the film !!

Many of my friends comment on the "spirit in the river" at 1:40 and yes the face on the tree, there's a few others, there's a reflection in the water with the leaf too upper left corner and a figure on the tree with the "spear" through it. lol...I loved it there :). Mysterious. The cowboys were fun to meet, we chatted & I asked to take their photo.They were quite nice & I adore horses

Oh, I know that movie!!!! It's that year's news footage of the police at the entrance gates who are searching people's 'carry-ins.' They are unceremoniously tossing all alcohol, including premium liquor, into the dumpster. Yes, Lily, Maker's Mark included!!! I'm convinced that Derby goers see it as a high stakes game... dare I say, a gamble.

Chris wasn't exactly well known but he did have a following, Mark met him, if you search here on YouTube there is a live performance & video of him singing that song. I used another song of his on my Picacho Peak Hiking video "Big Sky Country". He died quite young of cancer :(. The 2nd instrumental I like too but like you I love "Dust Radio". So glad you enjoyed it, it was hard figuring out something new after the other.

It is so beautiful Lily. Some of the photos have such an ethereal quality to them and others look like they could have been taken as a tin type over one hundred years ago. How absolutely wonderful!

The original music suited that more, but this new music suits the haunted atmosphere of these woods. I'm so glad you liked it Andrea and took the time to tell me, thanks so much for that. x
