I'm nowhere near the level that most of you are in the knowledge of the EGW and even thought I do not go to a SDA church any more, I can tell you my experience growing up going to the SDA church with my dad was nothing but possitive. In the 10 plus years of going to SDA church I rarely remember reading from any EGW books, but almost ALWAYS reading from the bible during church.

i agree with Bingolly in one area and that is to get people to see the truth. However, lumping all SDA folks into your one view is wrong. I`m was led by GOD to the SDA as I suppose you were led by GOD out of the Baptist Church to the Catholic Church. First and foremost we go by the WORD of GOD, the BIBLE. Good afternoon mfds4192. I hope you are well. I have read the Great Controversy and have thoroughly studied SDA theology for years. I do not find error in the way Bing has presented EGW theology.

Even Bing needs to be smacked down occasionally. Where is the "denominational bias that ruin the interpretation?"

Or is it that when you line up what EGW says in GC against what the Bible actually says it becomes apparent that either the Bible or EGW are not completely forthcoming.

Hi mark0454, thanks. I've waited his reply in my gmail. I hope you understand my concern. If u know Adventist theology you would understand me. He misunderstood Ellen White to mean that SDAs don't have Jesus in their lives at the end and ignore the Mediator as what he SEEMS to conclude at the end of the video. We have a Mediator now in heaven and when His mediating work is done He will come to take us to the place He prepared for us. But it doesn't mean Jesus will be gone in SDAs lives.

God has given Himself many names!. Let us look at some of the names given to Christ in the Bible; He is referred to as "the second Adam"He is our "/lawyer/" in the Sanctuary of Heaven. Jesus has many descriptive names which are written in scripture, but he is never referred to by the name Michael or archangel. No where did Jesus proclaim himself to be Michael the archangel, it is not written, and it is not written that Michael ever called himself Jesus. It is not even implied. Michael the archangel did not die on the cross for anyone. The play on words comes from the adventist who try to convince others that Michael is just another name for Christ, but it is beyond that. Adventist believe they are one and the same. This is not the gospel of Jesus Christ but a false gospel. There is none beside Him through Whom salvation comes,there is no other who can intermediate for people. Prayers directed to anyone beside Him are prayers spoken into the wind,like they were never prayed. When Jesus died, the laws of the Israelites were abolished. The sacrifices and works of atonement-Because Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice/Lamb and He cleansed us with His blood! But nowhere in the Bible does it state that the 10Commandments were abolished. As to the New Covenant- doesnt it state in Deut.10:12,30:6 and Lev.19:18 the New Covenant?
