I think that he means that tritium is used to boost the fusion of the Plutonium and Uranium-238 in hydrogen bombs. I have not even passed the eigth grade and know very much about this stuff!
I have one of the original MB Microtecs with blue trasers. The blue trasers once looked stunning, but now have lost their glow.
I contacted MB Microtec to see if they could replace the failing blue trasers with new ones, but they said they no longer make blue. I couldn't believe it. IT'S THEIR BEST COLOR!!!

@boxa888 Governments don't usually allow watch manufacturers to distribute uranium 238 and plutonium......This is H3(hydrogen 3) aka tritium, these tiny amounts inside watches only give off beta and alpha radiation, it is harmless as all the radiation is absorbed by the glass vials and mineral crystal.
I wear the Traser h3 Classic Chrono BD Titan, and its the best and most beautiful watch i ever had...The unique illumination is just a small part of its overal greatness !

Dear guitartec,
Please ask again at microtec from tue to fr
between 9.00 to 17.00.
The Phonenumber is 0041 31 980 20 20 (switzerland).

I cannot give you a 100% guarantee that it works, but they have a new collection with blue lights.
Good luck!

Yes, but the radioactivity is very, very low
it is just a beta-radioactivity, that means a simple electron coming out of the hydrogenium-
atom. This electron cannot even penetrate acigarette-paper. no electron is going out of the glass-tube. At the watch, there`s no

Hydrogenbomb is a long way.
