  • Because it's not good for bronze to be in continuous contact with your skin. This is always why the rear caseback is made out of titanium instead of bronze.

  • buckle is not bronze because you shouldn't have bronze always touching your skin for safety reasons. That's why the caseback is in titanium instead of bronze as well.
