Hy, can anyone help me, my rudder doesn´t turn right or left!! I dont know if the problem is in the remote control, or the rudder itself...i already verify and the wire that come from the motor to the rudder isn´t cut. Sorry my bad english :)

my plane doesnt turn at all im getting a little frustrated with all my rc vehicles they always break anyway my plane doesnt turn anymore the rudder doesnt respond to my command can anyone help me

my palm z would turn left fine but not right at all so we cut off that little bit at the other side to where this vid cuts off now and it turns both ways now buy wen i turn right too much it goes into a spiral like the vid said so its late when im writing this so i will put some tape there to block it just a little bit.

i have the same problem and i only want the right turn normal and not the left better but i dont now what the "bump for the rudder is"

bump ? if its the one ontop i duno but anyway the palm z are rubbish mine just falls to bits i used pva glue to stick it all back to gether, i snapped both white struts from wings to tail n uses pva glue to fix that too it still workes and i just turn left now dont use it much tho. when i break wings and it wont fly i will take mine to bits and make a new one out of fome of match sticks i will find that more fun than the palm z. tell me if u solve the problem

I wonder reason why they made plane like this! (deflection) Maybe a mistake with foam form!?

I will try your modification, but it very risky, because electric wire is smaler than a hair!

I got sugestion for repair; use wood glue to join broken part, before adding a tape. I had another model of rc-plane foam, they sugested to use wood glue for optimal results.

the fin is off set to counter act the spinning if the propeller so it is intentional

Weird; I cut away from the left side, but the rudder is physically incapable of moving any further left then it started. So it doesn't make any difference. There's just a small gap between the rudder and the tail now. Maybe I have a slightly different version or a knock off or something.

I have not cut the wing, yet.. But i added a little amount of Blu-Tack on the nose. it stops the spinig but makes the turns mor gradual. FLYING AT NIGHT IS THE BEST!! i got is 6 meters high and about 15 meters away (pointing at the plane),The reaction is dlayed becaus of the distance, but its is managable.. :D

i did this mod

it works pretty good i must say

but i did sommit difrent

from what i cut from the left side i made a stop with the foam i cut off for the right side and used foam safe glue to tack it on

i also played with the position od the propeller gear and now it flys without that annoying dipping and diving

it climbs a tad slower but an allround better flying effect

ive also added a green and blue led to the wing tips and connected it to the internal led

stunts are hard. u have to have the right timing and it takes a long lime to do a loop. accelerate, let go, accelerate, let go. ahhhhhh.......

Hey, those mods work, but I prefer to gently bend the wing surfaces to trim it. That way its always adjustable, nothings been cut off or added. Look at it from the front and compare the wings side to side, set the trim so the rudder is a bit left and test.

the "walmart version of the palm-z does not have that problem,

- (the new version of the palm-z is only white, but it still has the "fire, wave, wind" decal, but the whole body, winds are white, and the box is also different from the old version....)

- the price is about 20$ CAD now
