Rags To Riches is a great race horse!

I was at Churchill for the race. Excellent performance by Rags to Riches. She won by almost 5 and against a very, very, good field. A handful of these fillies would go on to win gr.1 races.

I watched rags to riches race today at belmont park was in the lead at the top of the lane and would lose by a neck winner 9-5 odds over rags to riches 2-5 favorite lol.

she's so young, who can tell whether she's as good as ruffian or not? i think she's a pretty amazing horse already. can't get enough of this filly. :)

I loved Ruffian too. But give this big girl credit. The great Secretariat lives in her. She gave us quite a show at the Belmont, right? Go baby, go!! And there was nothing easy about her win. She earned it.

Do you think she'll pass her brilliance on to her foals? I hope so. And a strange coincidence--Both Genuine Risk in March and Winning Colors later in 2008, died. So thanks to Rage because without her we couldn't say we had at least one living female Classic winner.

She BEAT Curlin-the horse of the world, she was that gutsy & brave. lol wonder if they'll breed her to Curlin actually they can't-both have deputy minister as their broodmare sire...damn

Amazing that as Genuine Risk and Winning Colors were growing old and passing from life, we get Rags to Riches and now Rachel Alexandra.
