they should so make this akin to retro design, it just seems to fit even though they are technically made out of an advanced peak of our civilization which would intonate lots of shiny metals and highrises or something. I think it would be great if those who made avatar: the last airbender series made this into a series, this to me will be ruined with a movie, a series detailing everything would be GREAT! =D

I love these books, as much as I love my computer (if not more, that is a LOT), and if Jackson screws this up... if he destroys it... I'm gonna hate him for it...

Peter Jackson is working on the movie now. i hope they don't fuck it up, cause im telling all my friends about this. plus this is a GREAT book. I wonder what they're gonna make hester look like, and grike too. It's GRIKE in america, i think it fits better, but they should keep the name SHRIKE in the movie since its the original and it would piss off everyone in the UK who's read the book. but i think Grike just rolls off the tongue better

@yunolks3 No, Shrike rolls off the tongue better. Grike sounds like a caveman. And in Fever Crumb it states that all the stalkers in the Lazurus brigade are named after birds.
Apart from that I agree with you. Oh, and there's also a graphic novel being made (it's going to be about Anna Fang).

The 'animation' was absolutely atrocious!!.. It looks as though no effort has gone into it whatsoever - looks to me like you were relying on people to like the book rather than your shoddy work dude.
The drawing of the characters was on par with my 12 year old cousin and personally, as a fan of the book... you made a little piece of my heart die this day...

This is how trailers start life - as a series of sketches. Then when you have a tonne of money and equipment you can then add CGI etc to animate it really well.
