Thank you for you videos. It made it an easy decision to buy this game. We played our first game tonight and although I didn't win (2nd out of 4) I had a great time and the game was enjoyed by all.

PS, if anyone is near a Myriad Games (I'm not sure of how widespread they are) they have a deal - buy Small World get any expansion half off - The best part is they consider SW Underground an expansion so $50 for SW and $25 for SWU!

Why would you want to go into decline? Is there some form of benefit from doing so? If the other players can no longer attack you then I understand the decline option, but otherwise I don't understand the point in this.

@gasol18 you go into decline when it gets ineffective to conquer new regions. For example it can be that you have in each location one token. --> So you cant conquer any more. Then you go into decline to get another race. With this extra race you can conquer more regions again.

And normally your declined race will get beaten very fast from the opponents, so you take again another race. This cycles a few times in a game.

Hard to explain, but you wll get it realy fast by watching it played :)

In the set-up I am proposing an alliance with Luke. If you go on one side of Andrea, we "the people" will go on her other side and we can pick on her right away. If you agree, give us 2 thumbs up during the setup video, and we'll know the alliance is on!!

I may have missed it, but what are the winning conditions of the game? These victory tokens seem to be adding up quick. Do you maybe need to get 100 of them?

@ibeholder12 Yup, you missed it :) (it's about 3.5 minutes in). After a set number of rounds (in this case, 10), the player with the most Victory coins wins.

...I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your videos thus far!  It is great to not have to try and correlate someone's opinion with my own in order to figure out if I will like it. Watching these I can get a feel for the game itself in a objective way and decide for myself.

One thing you forgot to mention is that you don't have to leave at least one token in each of your locations while gathering your troops for the next invasion. This way you lose the location, but you have more troops available to conquer new ones. Which is importent for aggresive races like the orcs. Oh and by the way great series so far.

I've watched and read a lot of reviews of this game over the past year, and could never figure out if this game would be embraced by our gaming group or not. So, I'm definitely excited to watch this playthrough! This rules overview was very clear, and I'm anxious to jump right in! :)
