Actually, Sally--based off Ricky from the 1990 game--debuted in a 1991 promo comic made by SEGA of America 2 years before Amy Rose became a SEGA character. If you recall, though Rosey the Rascal--proto Amy--was in a 1992 comic alongside Sally, Amy didn't become fully realized until 1993, after Sally was well established. For shipping's sake, I'd be mad that SEGA picked a character bought from someone else (Amy came from Shokgakuken [Pokemon manga]) over one it made itself (Sally), wouldn't you?
Well, the mere creation of the characters Amy and Sally is proof that SEGA wants there to be something there... but I personally say no to it all other than Archie. Seems to me that Sally really doesn't seem to tie him down there (though god damn issue 134 made a lot of people think so). Sonic's been on plenty of adventures even when he and Sally are together. Other than that though, yeah, get rid of it, Not wanted. Just my 2 cents.

I think that the romantic stuff should be left to sonic's fanbase and the archie comics, if the put all that into the games and shows it just ruins the whole thing and makes the storyline of what is actually happening dissapear, they would take too much time focusing on the romance than the real game/show thingy....well you get my point, In all that sonic should be left SINGLE! I don't really care that there is a lot of romance in archie, not many people like it

Actually, he's not a playa at all. There are more than half a dozen girls interested in him, but as far as I know he's never cheated on anyone. In the Anime universe, Amy has no competition and he's gradually warming up to her. In the Archie Comics universe he was seriously devoted to Sally until they broke up, and he was loyal to Fiona until she cheated on him. When he's in a relationship, he takes it seriously. It's all the fan-girls who play around. =)
Yeah, it seems that way to a lot of people who do know the story, so don't feel bad. :P The world of Sonic the Hedgehog has gotten ridiculously complex over the years. So many companies in so many countries have taken the character in so many different directions, and now all their universes are colliding. It's crazy. =S
I import my episodes into Windows Movie Maker. It came with my computer, but there are probably programs like it out there that you could download or buy. You can cut clips up, change their speed, line them up with sound and titles... all kinds of things.
Don't forget NICOLE! It hasn't gone anywhere yet, but if it did things would get awkward with Sally (more so, I mean). Then there's Elise. I haven't played that game, so I don't know the story there. There was also a very brief thing with Bunnie, but that wasn't sincere... This poor guy has wayyy too many love interests.
I think it would b best if all of Sonic's girlfriend hopefuls just stopped. they wouldnt b killed by some evil guy trying to get to sonic, and sonic would suffer less heartbreaks. He also has enough to do already!
Yeah, he had agreed to marry Sally and be the king one day... but then an explosion sent him across the galaxy and everyone thought he was dead for a year. It hit her pretty hard and she wanted him to stop taking so many risks. He couldn't give up the heroics for her, and that's why they broke up.
The song was very fitting for Sonic and the clips went along well with the music. I think its better that Sonic doesn't have a girlfriend right now after all he's the hero of Mobius and protecting it is his 1st priority and 1st love. If he got a girlfriend that would end up being a major weakness for him because he end up accident putting his feelings for her above the needs of the people of Mobius and I don't think he wants to do that. Thats just my theory. I give it 5 stars.
He should be single because they never made a decent girl for him. Amy is an ugly, annoying little bratty fangirl with no life because she spends all her time stalking and/or following Sonic, and Sally is just plain mean. And she's not even in Sonic X or in the games, which makes her unimportant. And Elise is a human, and if they had a kid it would be all dimented looking XD
Metal: I agree with the Amy part, somewhat. But Sally, I don't agree with, for she was in Spinball--a game starring the funded-by-SEGA SatAM cast made by the makers of the Genesis games--and thus, Sal had her inspiration within the games that started the whole franchise.
Continued: Plus, Sally was only written badly in the comics, 'cause the issues were written by Sally-hating Ken Penders & Karl Bollers, and if Sonic had not been sent away for a year, he would've married Sally and would be the king of Mobius (as per "25 Years Later").
@TherealRNO ummm... she had a cameo in ONE secret stage. if you remove her and replace her with someting elde it wouldn't make a difference. and besides sonic spinball isn't the only game based on the Us tv show. there was also Dr Robtnik's Mean Bean Machine based off of aosth which was also made by sega of america.

Nah, he just gets written about by too many different people. At any given time, in any given show/game/comic Sonic the Hedgehog has ONE girlfriend, if any. It's mostly the girls that chase him, giving him a bad rep. -_^

Your best bet would be to buy the DVD. I think they're still selling it in the States. There might be sites where you could find it, but that usually involves illegal downloading. sorry :(

It was the 42nd episode. (Japanese title translated to: "Amy, Love's Escape Journey?!") "Sonic has cheated on me" might have been a mistranslation. She said it because he didn't show up for a date. There was no other girl involved. I found that clip looking for a shot of Amy looking mad and scary. The subtitle was a coincidence.

Actually, he's not a playa at all. There are more than half a dozen girls interested in him, but as far as I know he's never cheated on anyone. In the Anime universe, Amy has no competition and he's gradually warming up to her. In the Archie Comics universe he was seriously devoted to Sally until they broke up, and he was loyal to Fiona until she cheated on him. When he's in a relationship, he takes it seriously. It's all the fan-girls who play around. =)

Yeah, it seems that way to a lot of people who do know the story, so don't feel bad. :P The world of Sonic the Hedgehog has gotten ridiculously complex over the years. So many companies in so many countries have taken the character in so many different directions, and now all their universes are colliding. It's crazy. =S

I import my episodes into Windows Movie Maker. It came with my computer, but there are probably programs like it out there that you could download or buy. You can cut clips up, change their speed, line them up with sound and titles... all kinds of things.

Don't forget NICOLE! It hasn't gone anywhere yet, but if it did things would get awkward with Sally (more so, I mean). Then there's Elise. I haven't played that game, so I don't know the story there. There was also a very brief thing with Bunnie, but that wasn't sincere... This poor guy has wayyy too many love interests.

Yeah, he had agreed to marry Sally and be the king one day... but then an explosion sent him across the galaxy and everyone thought he was dead for a year. It hit her pretty hard and she wanted him to stop taking so many risks. He couldn't give up the heroics for her, and that's why they broke up.

The song was very fitting for Sonic and the clips went along well with the music. I think its better that Sonic doesn't have a girlfriend right now after all he's the hero of Mobius and protecting it is his 1st priority and 1st love. If he got a girlfriend that would end up being a major weakness for him because he end up accident putting his feelings for her above the needs of the people of Mobius and I don't think he wants to do that. Thats just my theory. I give it 5 stars.

He should be single because they never made a decent girl for him. Amy is an ugly, annoying little bratty fangirl with no life because she spends all her time stalking and/or following Sonic, and Sally is just plain mean. And she's not even in Sonic X or in the games, which makes her unimportant. And Elise is a human, and if they had a kid it would be all dimented looking XD

Metal: I agree with the Amy part, somewhat. But Sally, I don't agree with, for she was in Spinball--a game starring the funded-by-SEGA SatAM cast made by the makers of the Genesis games--and thus, Sal had her inspiration within the games that started the whole franchise.

Continued: Plus, Sally was only written badly in the comics, 'cause the issues were written by Sally-hating Ken Penders & Karl Bollers, and if Sonic had not been sent away for a year, he would've married Sally and would be the king of Mobius (as per "25 Years Later").

@TherealRNO ummm... she had a cameo in ONE secret stage. if you remove her and replace her with someting elde it wouldn't make a difference. and besides sonic spinball isn't the only game based on the Us tv show. there was also Dr Robtnik's Mean Bean Machine based off of aosth which was also made by sega of america.
