Is Crash Man teleporting when the bomb (or whatever it is) explodes? Or is that just sprite flicker while he moves away? Bubble Man, Crash Man, and Flash Man look like they could be potentionally annoying if you don't get them set into a pattern. Heat Man doesn't seem hardly any different to me. The rest of them just seemed all round irratating, haha. Great Job!
No, you misunderstood me. I don't use any tools like slowdown and save state during the movie, just simply recording the battle into an emulator movie, because this is plainer than recording the "live play". So this is not a tool-assisted.
Yeah I guess such perfection requires high emphasis on a certain play style of MM2, and intimate familiarity of timing and AI of the hack as well as the engine as a whole.
I'm not just talking about the hack game videos, it's all of the videos. In fact, most of the videos of MM nes games I see are too fast. Mine were initially too fast, but I lowered the frame rate by 5, which seemed to fix it.
I seem to be the only person who notices this increase in game-play speed. :/
You should play the game while having a corresponding video play windowed next to it, and perhaps you will see what I am talking about.
Maybe record the intro to one of the games, and then watch that video while you are also watching the intro in the actual game, starting them at the same time. If I am correct, you should see that the video will be playing through the intro quite a bit faster than it actually should.
Well, the NES version Megaman 7 I record it in a windowed manner, these though in a full screen manner with an other program. I do not know it, I do not feel a difference in connection with the velocity.

No, it's just recorded into a movie before recorded to avi, but don't using any tools.

I love this hack, even though I cheated using the Super Password (used in the original MM2 & it's hacks, along with RM2/hacks).
Oh, I have a question. Is there a difference in the 2 patches for this game, besides the name?
MegamaniaZX 3 years ago
Yes, one the normal version, the other the heavier.
zuschzero 3 years ago
Ah. Okay. So, I guess I need to get the heavier patch back since I deleted it.

This looks interesting. I've never tried any hacked ROM games before.
Why are your videos so fast? They are noticeably faster than what they should be. That's my only complaint. Still, good job.
thebeatlespwnj00 3 years ago
In the hacks fast, because they are made in that manner. According to me in those videos of mine, where the neat game is there normal their motion
