@JackNeedles. Forgive my English ignorance, and i do consider myself reasonably well read but what actually does America gives thanks for in November? Thanksgiving,apparently a very big deal in the states, has no coverage or explanation over here in Blighty, and to be honest alot of us are in the dark...

@deadravenchoir I suppose that the holiday means different things to different people but my view is that thanksgiving is all about family and food (best meal of the year). If you've never tried turkey,mashed potatoes, cranberries, bread stuffing, peas, sweet potatoes, gravy, colslaw and gravy together you are missing out!

It's basically a time to eat and drink all day. It's fantastic.
