in general Ts of the avicularia genus are most likely calm, surely there are exceptions,

depending on the specimen

also they are good beginner-Ts

those calm species are the easiest to be handled but again, though some are rly skittish

u should keep the handling at a minimum

Ts aint animals that are to be touched if it can be avoided

still if u rly wanna do handle it just for the experience, a calm species is to be recommended

so yes a. avic is ok depending on HOW u handle it

@garett724: As long as you don't mess with it, it won't bite you...they aren't overly aggressive but they are HIGHLY defensive. Leave it alone and you'll be fine. It's definitely not a handling spider. LOL
