With Shawn Andrews,I dunno what they'll do,he missed the whole season due 2 depression & all,so who knows where he is physically & emotionally right now. He's proven he's one of the best right-tackles in the game when healthy,so we'll see what happens there. Lastly,we need a tight-end. L.J. Smith is gone-(thank God) & we made a minor run @ Tony Gonzalez,but we need 2 get serious now. Celek was solid @ the end of the season but the problem with both Celek & Schoebel is,they can't block. We'll see

He had back spasms,surgery,& all that,but let's be real, teams always have ways of suspiciously placing players on IR due 2 "season ending injuries", or "season ending surgery", because it's another way to divert attention away from the player or the team in question. Not to say that's exactly what happened with Shawn Andrews,but I found it a little weird just how everything went down. That's just 1 of many questions this team has though. We'll see what happens

I actually said the same thing 2 some of my friends once he signed with Denver. He signed a 7-year deal, but let's be real,it's a 2-year deal with plenty of incentives on the backend of the contract. There's plenty of times when a franchise player will leave in free agency,only 2 be back @ the end of his career,either by signing a 1-year contract,or otherwise. I personally think after 3 seasons, he'll re-sign here in the 2011-2012 season,& be back here 2 retire as an Eagle, the way it should be.

Dawkins is my favorite Eagle of all time, & eventhough the Broncos are gaining a team leader & great player,no other team could appreciate him the way we do. Andy Reid,Joe Banner,& Jeffrey Lurie are still catching hell for letting Dawkins leave-(here in Philly, turn on either 610WIP or 950 ESPN on the radio, & people still callup both stations flaming the Eagles brass). I truly believe Dawkins will be back,it's just a shame he had 2 findout the hardway that this isn't family,this is business....

He won't be back this year because if Reid & Banner wanted to keep him,they would have offered him something more,& they wouldn't trade a draft pick 4 some1 they could've signed anyway. Boldin could still be traded,but Warner & FiTzGerald are both gonna do everything 2 convince Boldin that he should stay. Denver offered Dawk the money we should have-(Dawkins last 3 seasons in Philly, he made 7.14 million dollars, while in Denver, he'll make 7.1 million dollars in the '09-10 season alone).

Good to hear that Donovan is going to remain a Philadelphia Eagle. Media hype and nonsense criticism is what has fueled the bs that is talked about Donovan. I hate the fact that he keeps running to the national media-(Fox News/ESPN/NFL Network/etc.) & letting them know how unhappy he is about not getting a new contract. I think management should reachout to the teams of recievers that speak highly of the Eagles-(Anquan Boldin/Chad Johnson/T.J. Houshmandzadeh/Nate Washington/etc.) because we don't have the worst recieving core in the NFL,but we need a #1 or #2 reciever like you said,because DeSean Jackson isn't a #1 reciever-(more like a #2),& Kevin Curtis isn't a #2-(he's been a slot reciever his whole career) If they're gonna bring Donovan back,they need to get him some more help or else nothing will change...

Looking @ our recieving core,the most expendable reciever would be Reggie Brown,when he did get to play,he showed little,if anything @ all. Jackson is the future,Curtis is a speedy slot,Baskett is a deep threat,Avant came on late in the year as a solid 3rd-down posession reciever,Lewis would be our worst reciever,but he's not on the roster because of his offensive ability,he's mainly here because of his special teams play. Reggie Brown should be packaged with LiTo Shepard to moveup in the draft.

I hope they can get a running back as well,I wouldn't mind trying to go after either Jacobs or Ward-(NY Giants),eventhough I figure Jacobs will be re-signed by NY. I not only say this because Westbrook stays overworked,but because one overlooked thing is Buckhalter may want to leave. He's a free agent,there are games when he'll only get 2-5 carries,& he'll probably wanna go to a team with a "rush-minded offensive scheme" which we don't exactly have. I hope he stays,but I have my doubts.....

The Tre Thomas,John Runyan,Bryan Dawkins thing=I think B-Dawk has shown he should retire an Eagle,no matter what,he should be given a 2 year deal. Thomas,would be the hardest out the 3 to replace because left-tackles are hard to come by,they protect the QB's blindside & there would be only a few legit guys on the market this offseason. Runyan,who was offered a deal with the Jets,took less money to re-sign here a few years ago. He remembers that,& he's expecting the team to remember that as well.
