Could you play the entire song with out explaining step by step so I/we can get the way you play it... it the best version I heard so far. Well done man. Hope you can upload the version. Thank you very much
@notherealslimshady It's an octave position. So for example, when you're playing the D, you're gonna be playing the 5th fret on the 5th string and the 7th fret on the 3rd string. And you slide that position up 2 frets, up 1 fret, up 2 frets. Does that make sense?
I don't want this to come off as mean but I love the part at 01:55 ... *sigh* "I can't count.." You had me and the misses rolling. Great instructional video though! You teach very well and I subbed!
@yesternightsdecision ive been with my guitars for 9 years i think, but i just played 2 years of it seriously thats y im not not good enough!!thanks fot the advice!!your great i subbed!!!
@Greenslime300 Yeah, the solo's definitely the hardest part. I would say work on your second position of your pentatonic scale doing pull-offs to help the most with this solo. It took me a while before I could do it (and honestly I still mess up sometimes) but it's so fun to play once you can. good luck!
Great lesson man, you broke it down great. This helped alot, if you don't already have a full video of you playing through the song can you add one. That would help alot too!
@Reznov2033 Hey, the tuning is drop C which is (low to high) C G C F A D. I may not be in the exact correct tuning in this video, but that's how the play it.
Maybe next time try to compile your whole lesson into one smooth (slowed down) version. It'll give something to have a reference to as someone learns :)

how did you play that from 5:50 to 6:00? I think I got the fingering right but I must not have because it sounds nothing like that

Good job man :D
I'm no expert but I learnt a little differently,
During the 3rd guitar at the intro, isn't there hammer-ons when you play the 3rd to 5th fret on the 6th and 5th string?
Sorry if that was a bit confusing :p
Keep up the good work (:
MrAussieCroat 6 months ago
@MrAussieCroat Yeah, if I understand you correctly, I believe it is a hammer-on.

Great video, I love this song and it's great for any beginner/intermediate guitar player. I'm having trouble with the solo, just cause it's so fast.
