  • Oh yeah, I have the same 22 conversion....great minds think alike huh...LOL

  • I have the Stag Model 2 as well, right hand tho. Im running Magpul MOE forend, butt stock and AFG, but I veered off of magpul to go with a CAA pistol grip which I like really well. Also have a magpul trigger guard ext. Im using the same light, I love Fenix and carry an LD20 EDC, but the TK11 gets it done on the gun. Almost the same setup as mine. Now, I chose the MOE forend to save weight, plus Im only using a light, didnt need the quad rail taking up space, etc. The AFG is trial 4 now. Good vid

  • Good to hear nice rifle

  • Nice gun,btw I wouldnt put that arms sight on your gas block it's made of polymer and would melt I have the same sights and says not to due to heat just a heads up so you don't ruin your sight

  • @danzigmatt It ended up working out anyway because the sight is bigger than the gas block so I had to mount it on the end of the top rail and it's worked out well there ever since.

  • so let me ask when u took off the front site, what did u do to it?

  • @Dre6k do you mean how did I take it off? Its got two taper pins holding it on, which I bent a brass punch trying to remove. I took it to bass pro and let their gunsmith knock them out. Not sure if that's what you meant.

  • ive been looking around for a left handed ar, and i think ive found it, this is hopefully gonna be my 18th birthday present to myself. how does this gun hold up to a bushmaster? and im sure its california legal if i drop in the bullet button and 10 round mags?

  • @000terminator I'd like to think this gun holds up at least as well as a bushmaster. Stag makes very high quality firearms so I don't think that'll ever be a concern for you. I've put about 500 rounds of .223 through it and about 500 rounds of .22 through it and I haven't had any issues. I don't know anything about "that state" and their laws, you'd have to look up statutes or google it.

  • Nice, I have the exact same gun I did a vid on. Have u used the .22 conversion yet. how does it shoot with it. any jams.Im getting on for Christmas, so I hope its 100% reliable anyways good looking gun

  • Thanks. I've used the conversion kit a couple times, it absolutely hates winchester wildcat. There was over a 50% chance of having a FTF. I use Winchester 36gr plated hollow points (333rd and 555rd bulk packs) and they work great, only 1 or 2 FTFs in over 300 rounds. Other than hating wildcats, the conversion kit is very smooth and pretty easy to clean. You may have to file down two tabs on the mag in order to fit in the mag well. Kind of stupid but a dremel does the trick so be prepared.

  • @dahelmetrk Hey I just ordered my conversion kit from stag. Pretty excited. Can you tell me how their shipping time was. Thanks a lot

  • I really wasn't paying much attention to be honest, sorry.
