I watch this video all the time. I thank KKFan9 for making this video. I'm 23 and lost my dad in december for 2010 just before christmas. We loved watching Dale race around the track and when my dad past I was past on all his Dale Earnhardt pieces. at 2.16 every time I see it I think of my dad. I have decided to get it as a tattoo in memory of Dale, A close friend who past in highschool who had 3 as his jersey number and my Dad. Its nice to get 1 tattoo in memory of 3 people with the number 3
It's been 10 years, and the memory of his car hitting the Turn 4 wall on the last lap of Daytona just keeps going through my head. That hit was brutal no doubt, but you can't help but say, "There's no way, on heaven, Earth, or in hell, that that wreck killed him." Not to mention, it just sucked for Jr. a few weeks after that. Then Daytona comes back, and Jr. wins.
hey if you still have that picture at 2:16 can you send it to me at monicasman85@yahoo.com please i want it as a tattoo i think it would be sweet thank you
Really, the only race I've ever seen Dale compete in, live, was the 2001 Daytona 500. I was shocked after he wrecked that I found out he was hurt. I didn't think he died, but that was a sad thing to happen. If there's one NASCAR Ledgend I wish would come back to life and race again, Dale Sr. would definetly be #1.
theres another reason why noone will race like dale nor will there be another Dale sr again, NASCAR made it Illegal to drive like he did, case in point if you run someone of the track like dale did you get black flagged and lose a lap
dale sr is the best car driver no matter if he had passed hes the best like kevin harvick dale jr and jeff gordan butthe only who sucks is kyle busch i swear i wish hes was dead instead of dale sr i bet everyone does
well on febuary 18th this year i got in trouble at school for wearing a dale sr shirt i told my teacher aint u or nobody els gonna tell me i cant wear this shirt and if ya do ill have thousands of people fighting for that right if you agree give me thumbs upp
dale my daddy and graddaddy are my insparation for racing im a third genaration driver and i have it in me to race and i learned so much from all of them R I P big D
You know, 2001 wasn't a good year for America. Two big tradgedies, this one and 9/11, occurred. The only thing about 2001 I really liked was Jeff Gordon winning the championship, and Dale Jr. winning the Pepsi 400, and even those can't erase all of the tradgedies that occurred.
that Reflections picture, I have that hanging on the wall in my room, I won it at a fair some time ago, along with two smaller pictures,. Man I miss Dale, R.I.P.
from ralph to dale sr to kyle busch face it nascarfanatic24 kyle busch is the 3rd intimidator he has won every where dale did jr has not but dale jr will be the son of dale sr no body can take that away good bye dale 3,88,18,8.
Hey, the kid's got skill, and he's a good driver, but he'll only be a great driver when he thinks about the big picture- meaning the Sprint Cup- in any situation and controls his attitude. I used to like him at HMS, because he was always cool, and he raced a lot cleaner. Now you look at him, he's lost himself, in my opinion. Dale Jr. doesn't even compare to his dad. He's good, but he's lost his mojo. IDK how.
I agree. Kyle Busch can drive a car. But he will never be the personality that Dale Sr. was, so we can't compare him to Dale Sr. As for Junior, I knew it even from when he started, Junior is not his daddy as far as driving a car goes. The core NASCAR fans need to realize that Junior is a different person than his daddy, he has his own image. Sure, Junior is southern smooth like his dad, but thats just coming from the south. I realized it, and I still love Junior cause he's being himself
I agree with you 100%. Dale's good, but he was better in the #8 car, and I think he had some kind of mojo going for the longest time, and he was winning races. Now he needs to get it back. Junior ain't his dad, but he's not a terrible racecar driver. He probably could've won the '04 championship if he never had bad luck. Now he isn't even gonna make the chase, this year. Jr. needs to figure how to fix things up.
@MrStevenson90 man i was 5 and much like your dad i cant watch a race at daytona without walking away just before a crash that crash put in tears when i found out but dale jr is bringin back the number three on july 21 i just hope he doesnt wreck i dont think i can take it
It's a no-brainer that there will never be another Intimidator, no matter what Dale Earnhardt haters say, no matter what fans of other drivers say. Jeff Gordon's my favorite driver, and Jeff's awesome, but he got a lot of advice from Dale Earnhardt, and it was great to see those two battle for the win, back then, and would still be today, if he was still alive. R.I.P. Dale, one of the most awesome- not just NASCAR Drivers- but people of all time.
There will never be another Intimidator. He was the one and only. There will never be another number 3. God needed a driver and he took the best one out there. R.I.P Dale
You couldn't be more right, that's why I hate the dude who posted the video calling Kyle Busch, "the new intimidator." Kyle is worthless compared to Dale Sr. Dale would own him, every week, and Kyle would've cried a river everytime he got beat.
I agree with you angel1angel8. It didn't matter who your favorite driver was, at the end of that race i bet that not a single person left that track with dry eyes. Dale fan or not.
I first saw the crash on the news, and my Dad just said he broke his neck. I didn't think he died, too. It was so great to see Jr. win the Pepsi 400 that year, later on. Dale was awesome, and nobody will compare to that man. Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, and Dale Jr. are my three favs, now. They all competed with Dale, and respected him. Jeff's always been my favorite, but Dale's awesome, and his black #3 car was a cool sight on the track.
I made a video to Blaise, My Uncle, Dale E, Alan Kulwicki, and Davey Allison...Buuuut...Onetruemedia didn't like my music I had and I had to pick music from the list -_-
That really sucks haha. I'm sorry about that. The music companies and producrs can seem to just let people use the music that they BOUGHT the rights to use for the videos anymore. It sucks. I'm suprised nobody has taken the music from this video...its been up here for 2 years.
@daretobestupidguy ACTUALLY dude, I'm a Jeff Gordon fan. I just decided to make this account after my 2nd favorite driver. Ain't nobody gonna tell me off on my own video. I was a BIG Dale Earnhardt fan. I know a whole hell of a lot more than the average fan about that man. I remember being 10 years old watching the Daytona 500 that day. Don't tell me I just made a Dale Sr. video just so I could get views and comments. Always have been and always will be a Dale Sr. fan.
@KKFan9 I was 11 the day that happened and just really started to follow the drivers closely. Gordon is a good driver, but there is no one like Dale Sr.
After burning up the track in #3 Monte Carlo Dale would often spend 3-4 hours signing autographs, posing for pictures, and visiting with fans. There will NEVER be another Intimidator. He'll always be The Man! RIP Dale, we miss you!
"He was with me tonight. I wanna dedicate this win to him..." -Dale Jr. after winning the 2001 Pepsi 400. How right he was. Dale Earnhardt was most definitly with him when he passed Johnny Benson. There is a pic of Dale Sr.'s car cropped it that looks like hes pushing Jr. past Benson on here sonewhere. I so want to find that pic and then put it in this video. It's the best way to describe why the events that took place that night still even give me goosebumps.
Thats wonderful man. Thats true love for someone, when you want to get something like them permanately written or drawn on your body. Wearing your heart on your skin. Dale Earnhardt was someone worthy of getting that tattoo.
I know. I believe if you love someone or something that much, you can show it off for everyone to see. I'm only 18 and I know you all will hiss me, but I want a tattoo of Jeff Gordon's #24 with the signature under it and the 4 years he won championships above the number. Maybe when he retires, I'll add a layer under the signature that says like example: 1993-2015. I think I'll have a 3 and 8 of JR and SR together as one, have the 3 in black and the leftover in red signifying junior. Im nuts haha
That sounds cool, I'm not a Gordon fan, but I don't hate him. My Uncle's friend works for Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon, Ordering parts. They only go in the shop once in a while. When I was little I got to see the shops.
One problem, though: We don't know for sure if 2015's Jeff's retiring year. I'd love to see him race that long, but he could go longer/shorter than that. Dale Earnhardt was awesome, though, and it was nice of you to make a tribute to such a great ledgend.
Haha thanks a lot man. I'm 18 years old now, but I been a Jeff Gordon fan since I was about 2 and a half feet tall haha. He' always gonna be my favorite and the day he retires, idk who i would root for then. That would be the biggest decision I ever made lol
I hear ya there. Jeff's been my favorite since I started watching NASCAR, and it'll suck the day he retires, but hopefully he can get the championship this season. It's only been 5 races, but Jeff's looking hot, so far, leading the points and finishing no worse than 13th!
Yeah! I know! And another great thing about it, @ Texas, a place he never won at before! Now, there's just Homestead, and Jeff would've won all 21 tracks on the cup circuit.
I think the only place that happens at is at Talladega, I'm pretty sure, well, excluding Chicagoland of '06. If people are gonna throw things, I hope Kyle Busch wins, then. I could care less if his car got beer bombed. It'd probably make his brother happy, especially if they used a lot of Miller Lite.
god, just seems like yesterday he passed. god, that hit me and my family soo hard. god i miss big e out on the track. its like, after he passed, i didnt even care about nascar. i used to fly a an intimidator high everysunday along w/ jeff and the american flag. now, they just sit in the basement. god, that was a sad day in nascar and in the homes of fans. rip dale, you were the best. one the nascar greats
Man, a lot of the fans like you are the same way and not by any means is it bad. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was NASCAR, everyone cheered him and believed in him. When you take away the most integral part of why you do something, it pretty much makes it totally meaningless. Dale's death did that to many fans. NASCAR, to this day, still has not gotten over the loss of Earnhardt. NASCAR still seems empty without the black #3 on the track. ChevyGuys, your pain is not misfounded by any means. RIP Dale Sr.
You know, since this vid is my favorite, as well as the song Hero from the Spider-Man movie, I've reworked the song to make it a tribute to Dale Earnhardt. I call it "Hero: A Dale Earnhardt Tribute"
Thank you very much. I appreciate the comments, I worked hard to piece this one together. Dale Earnhardt Sr. is a topic of which is still very sensitive to NASCAR fans today. But once I heard the song, the ending part with the guitar and full band kicking in, that whole part just clicked in my head and the outcome of the whole thing has been beyond what I expected.
I work everyday. I asked my employer (ShopRite Supermarkets) to give me as many hours as possible. I have a car, a cellphone bill and a crazy ass insurance for the car to pay. My insurance is close to 500 a month because I'm only 17 but I have a 1998 Eclipse that I bought that is like the ones u see in the Fast and the Furious so thats why. Plus gas for the car, and sure gas price is down to the REGULAR price again but its very expensive so i must work a lot to pay for this. TG I'm a senior.
Yeah man, I'll try to download this to you. I can send it to you through e-mail. I do apologize that I have not been able to make your request with the Hero song, been very busy with school and a part time job.
All I can say is thank you for loving it. I'm happy that this is my best recieved video on here. I thank everyone who has watched the video in its entirety, I know it is tough to do that without pausing it and crying. I had a hard time making this because I was tearing up.
i remember that Pepsi 400, cause i remember screaming at the top of my lungs for JR. and watching in awe as every single one of the people at the track stood up, and hearing Darrel Waltrip getting emotional and watching Jr. win after losing his dad 5 months before.
i was at the race her died at and i just meet him and then her went out and died on that race nascare haves not been the same seen he haves been gone. we love you dale sr
do you remember me? And my 1 and 3-week old comment(s)? Can you please do so like I asked? And the song is "Hero" from music from and inspired by Spider-Man. Can you use this same video with the music "Hero"?
Can you do it this coming Saturday, or the Saturday after? And if you've forgotten, it's the same video, but the music/song is "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Jose Scott (Found in Music From and Inspired by SPIDER-MAN).
Alright, but I gotta say, because of how long and short both the video and song is, make sure you time it just right. So, I was thinking about starting the video at 0:50 seconds, then play the song. Either way, just try to time it just right!
Question: With the same video, at 0:16, can you play the music "Hero" By Chad Kroger Jose Scott? "Hero" is found in the Music from and inspired by Spider-Man.
iv never cried over a sport man..but dales death fucks up my insides..love you man you are my idle il never forget you my dad was never ther for me as a child but u wer RIP man
great video. i remember when i first got inot nascar and that race was the first full race i watched but i remembered hearin bout all the things that sr did from my daddy. i lost my dad 6 months before sr did and that video still gets too me
thank you kkfan9 for replying to me on the artist of the song.......i just knew it was evanescence but didn't know the song...dale was my favorite driver...i lost my husband the year before we lost dale and the song was so beautiful it made me cry....i miss both of them so much....thank you so much for the video and song..it was wonderful and it touched my heart.
i almost lost my mom a month ago to heart failre and my dad was never their for me as a child but if i watched the races it was all better for a little bit i know how u feal i loved dale like family ..im very sorry about your husband stay strong ps this song makes me cry to and i consider myself a pritty tough guy
Thank you for your nice email...losing a love one is so hard, especially in a tragic way as a car accident. Staying strong is tough but with a family like we have in NASCAR, we can carry on......and even if you cried, you're still a tough guy to me......
I would love to know who is the artist singing this song. It is so beautiful. I am forever a Dale Sr. fan.....my tattoo and my vehicles prove it...excellent video. please email me and let me know who this artist is...thank you.
Outstanding video; it makes Dale Sr's loss even more poignant. If there was anyone in motorsports that we all thought would live to comb gray hair, it was him, and nascar isn't the same without him. Rest in peace, Dale Sr; we will NEVER look upon your like again.
i feel so disrespectful for not giving sadness for dale earnhardt but a hero like him wouldnt like all this greaf and dude im Syriac you need to take up the profession of graffic desine
Jr did learn from the best when it comes to plate tracks. Sr taught him everything there is to passing and seeing that draft. I still miss seeing that black #3 on the track every sunday. I'm thinking about buying DEI on nascar 07 and doing my car the same color as Earnhardt Sr's but I'm not sure if I should
I agree with you. But i would think that Dale didn't teach Jr. everything. That would have given Jr. the advantage. I would think Senior kept somethings too himself and let Jr. figure the rest out on his own. Just saying.
Don't worry about it. It's your saying and I'm not saying your bad, but you are right. I think there is somethings Sr kept to himself and letted Jr figure the rest on his own after Sr passed on. Sr was the man that took nascar and shaked it off it's core. Long live Dale Sr forever
No way. Kyle Busch does have talent, but he is nowhere near close to the personality that Earnhardt Sr. was so he won't be the next Sr. I think Tony Stewart is the closest thing in terms of personality but hasn't had the same success as Earnhardt Sr. just my personal opinion :]
I agree with you there. Sr had the personality that everyone in the nascar got to know and loved. Even thought Kyle has the talent, but he is nowhere in earnhardt sr's shadow
Besides that, Kyle's an idiot compared to some of the worst drivers on the circuit. He's all talent, and no brains. Guys like Dale, Jeff, and Jimmie at least use their heads.
even after knowing aobut this video and watching for almost a year now. I still have a chill run down my back and try hard to restrain a tear from running down my cheek.
Dale was one of us, reguler everyday people who was living the dream. He was like a family member to us all, and he will never be forgotten by the true Nascar fans.
love the song & video but all i can say is go get them JR. cause ur starting to look like ur daddy but need to b more aggressive. but kkfan9 good work sr. would b proud
today was Taladaga and that was the first track i ever witnessed a dale earnhardt victory. i didnt go this year, nascar just doesnt feel the same. we need someone like Dale to show us all what the sport truely is. Man i miss him. Dale jr. reminds me of him sometimes, but there will never be another Dale Earnhardt.
Dale, you are greatly missed. I lost my love for stock car racing back in 2001 and actually stop racing myself. Racing has never been the same!!!! BUT, we must cheer on Dale JR. Forever live number 3........
Dale gave us so many memories he will be missed on the track but he will always be racing in our hearts every time the green flag drops. Miss you Dale.
Guys thank you for all the attention. This video has been up on YouTube for over a year, and I never expected such an outpouring of positive remarks for this video. I personally would love to thank you all for the wonderful comments, and hey thank you Dale Earnhardt for filling us up with so many wonderful memories that made this video possible. I love you Dale Sr, and thank you everyone for the love =]
i remember watching that unforgetable race the very last lap i just saw dale go into the wall. and they had anounced that dale sr. had passed on. dale you are still in our memories
I remember watching the race in 2001 the second he hit that wall it was all over. I was 11 at the time and to this day I still turn on the race and hope to see his car out there. He will always be in my heart.
i just loved the vid man i was in tears Dale was my favorite driver and the reason i watch nascar today, everytime i want the daytona 500 i can see that black number 3 rolling around that track wel miss you dale we truely do rip peace dale rip we all miss you
the video had me in tears it was so good, i was a huge fan of dale sr. and now dale jr. no one will ever replace him never.that kid needed that win at daytona 5 months later. we all needed it.
this is such a great video.thank you dale for allll the great races you gave to the world.there will never be another you. your the best.god bless....
WOW!!! dude just wow. im speechless just an amazing video. i have to say that this one has to be the best video i have watched yet. I love how you put jr's win at the pepsi 400 at the end. Shows how waltrip felt about what dale Sr. did at the daytona 500. It makes it nice seeing jr get help from waltrip like waltrip repaying the favor so awsome. but anywas dude you made a amazing video. and the song fits amazingly kudos to you man awsome vid
Hey, thank you so much for checking it out. When I first heard this song (I'm a DIE-HARD NASCAR Fan) I immediately thoght of Dale Junior and Senior. When the rock part kicked in, I visualized the Pepsi 400 win, and it just rolled off the tongue from there. I knew it would make for a good tribute, so I put the time to it and made it. As for Mikey helping Junior, that was awesome. I never cried so much after that Pepsi 400, it was just so damn 'feel good' I had to let it out. Thank you!
the night i heard that he was gone i cried one of the 3 times i've ever cried the hardest in my life and i held on to a picture of him all night sheddin tears tellin my mom to tell me that he's not really gone and now a days whenever i see a sticker on a vehicle thats a #3 dale sr. i smile and tears start comin from my eyes and i look to the sky and hold up 3 fingers and give the thumbs up
Hey man, I know how you feel. The first time it really sank into me was when Steve Park won that Rockingham race for DEI. I just knew that Dale was in that car with him. Then really at the July race at Daytona when Jr won that race. That's when I really knew that Dale was right there in that car with JR. And I still think about that.
To add to both your comments, I do no remember what I had to eat for dinner that night, or what my homework was for school. All I remember that night was hearing that Dale Earnhardt died in the biggest race in America. I simply could not fathom that. What if Tiger Woods was struck by lightning in the final round of the PGA tournament? Yeah, it is one of those kinda of unbelieveable moments. It sank into me also that Rockingham race when there was no 3 car on track. It broke my heart at the least
In a way, this year we are saying goodbye to both Dale Sr and Junior...Junior is changing so fast, it's kind of difficult to think about just HOW MUCH has changed since the death of Dale Sr. I'm happy for Junior, and for his gaining independence, but it's still sad for what he's leaving behind. Dale Sr is greatly missed, and loved, even almost 7 years later. He left a legacy. (By the way, I'm a diehard Junior fan in case you wanted to know)
Wow, I really did not know that this video would be SO moving that it would hit home to a non-NASCAR fan. Does anyone you know that your close to a race fan by chance? Most people that aren't race fans that commented the video said their friend or whoever was a big NASCAR fan, Dale. Sr in particular.
No no, thank YOU for watching this video. This video would be nothing if there was nobody that wanted to see it. I am really glad that not a single person hates this video. And I agree, NASCAR became what it was because of Dale Sr.
I imagine that the worst day in America for 2001 would be September 11th. I agree on that too. But if there was no September 11th, it would have been the worst day of the year. Earnhardt was the lower middle-class American and represented America in general very well, and seeing him die was like watching the last real American hero die, at least as far as NASCAR goes.
I`m a Jr fan and of course loved his dad, but does anybody wonder if the Pepsi 400 was "fixed"? I hope and don`t really think it was but... After watching some of the calls in the NFL and that NBA ref it crosses my mind. Its hard to "fix" a race but Jr hasn`t won many races in the last 6yrs. Just wondering.
I dont believe it was fixed. This is where the border line between reality and fantasy was blurred. I believe Junior was destined to win that race, weither Sr. was helping him or not. Junior had the fastest car there all weekend, and deserved to win.
Oh yeah I agree. Junior and Waltrip in the grass after the 1-2 win was definitly pure emotion and by no means was it scripted. Junior said in his book that if he went right into Victory Lane, his heart would have exploded so he did that to express his feelings. Come on, Junior was almost crying in victory lane, you don't ever make a man like Junior cry. Like Budweiser, that stuff was TRUE.
How do you "fix" a race? You can't! Especially not a NASCAR Winston/Nextel/Sprint race...their is 43 cars out there, and each one wants first and no matter what has happened, I highly doubt anyone woudl do any favors that might make them lose their rank or point standing, or keep them away from the cash. "Fixing" a race is not possible, no way.
I agree that you can't "fix" a race per se. However, there is so much grey area in the rules, Nascar can and I believe does make certain calls to fit their agenda. They exhibit gratuitous inconsistency when calling these races. That much cannot be denied.
Yeah...sometimes NASCAR makes some cheap calls, and probably do favor drivers at times, but I think Junior won the 400 on his own, fair and square. Dale Sr. raced hard to get what he wanted, and noone gave anything to him, and if people knew that about him, then I expect they would make Dale Jr. do the same.
You are very welcome. I was tearing up making the video, because it was just so damn powerful and moving witht he music and all. Us NASCAR fans will never get over the Man In Black's loss.
Then Daytona comes back, and Jr. wins.

Jr. needs to figure how to fix things up.
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
@KKFan9 yeah i still love Sr, i like Jr too, back when his dad was still alive...
i was 10 when he died. me and my dad watched his last race. my dad to this day still can't watch nascar.
i also like Kasey Kahne and i hate 24 jeff gordon... because of Sr!

This is a beautiful tribute video, Thnx for posting this
Dale Sr was the all time best, there will never be anyone better, There will never be another Intimidator
Dale was my hero growing up
Dale was my Idol growing up
And even though its been 8 long long years since his tragic death, It feels like it was only yesterday
And still i begin to choke up and have tears stream down my face whenever i decide to watch a Dale Sr video
God bless and God Speed Dale,

You couldn't be more right, that's why I hate the dude who posted the video calling Kyle Busch, "the new intimidator." Kyle is worthless compared to Dale Sr. Dale would own him, every week, and Kyle would've cried a river everytime he got beat.

I agree with you angel1angel8. It didn't matter who your favorite driver was, at the end of that race i bet that not a single person left that track with dry eyes. Dale fan or not.
leigh825 2 years ago 2
I first saw the crash on the news, and my Dad just said he broke his neck. I didn't think he died, too. It was so great to see Jr. win the Pepsi 400 that year, later on. Dale was awesome, and nobody will compare to that man. Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, and Dale Jr. are my three favs, now. They all competed with Dale, and respected him. Jeff's always been my favorite, but Dale's awesome, and his black #3 car was a cool sight on the track.
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago 2
YOU GUYS HAVE NO RESEPT! who cares what driver you liked.. at the end of the day it was still a driver lost!!

Always have been and always will be a Dale Sr. fan.
KKFan9 1 year ago
@KKFan9 I was 11 the day that happened and just really started to follow the drivers closely. Gordon is a good driver, but there is no one like Dale Sr.
Countrygurl894 10 months ago

KKFan9 3 years ago
Thats wonderful man. Thats true love for someone, when you want to get something like them permanately written or drawn on your body. Wearing your heart on your skin. Dale Earnhardt was someone worthy of getting that tattoo.
KKFan9 3 years ago
My uncle was a big race fan and he raced alot, too. His number was the 60
(Not NASCAR related) My papa tattooed his face on his arm. It's a Very special to put someone worthy on your body :)
XxAnnieApatheticxX 3 years ago
KKFan9 3 years ago
That sounds cool, I'm not a Gordon fan, but I don't hate him. My Uncle's friend works for Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon, Ordering parts. They only go in the shop once in a while. When I was little I got to see the shops.
XxAnnieApatheticxX 2 years ago
One problem, though: We don't know for sure if 2015's Jeff's retiring year. I'd love to see him race that long, but he could go longer/shorter than that. Dale Earnhardt was awesome, though, and it was nice of you to make a tribute to such a great ledgend.
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
BTW, you're awesome for getting a Jeff Gordon tattoo
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
Haha thanks a lot man. I'm 18 years old now, but I been a Jeff Gordon fan since I was about 2 and a half feet tall haha. He' always gonna be my favorite and the day he retires, idk who i would root for then. That would be the biggest decision I ever made lol
KKFan9 2 years ago
I hear ya there. Jeff's been my favorite since I started watching NASCAR, and it'll suck the day he retires, but hopefully he can get the championship this season. It's only been 5 races, but Jeff's looking hot, so far, leading the points and finishing no worse than 13th!
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
He finally got himself a win! Bout time man!
KKFan9 2 years ago
Yeah! I know! And another great thing about it, @ Texas, a place he never won at before! Now, there's just Homestead, and Jeff would've won all 21 tracks on the cup circuit.
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
that would be cool, I just hope the Earnhardt fans dont throw things on to the track again
supersasukemaniac 2 years ago
I think the only place that happens at is at Talladega, I'm pretty sure, well, excluding Chicagoland of '06. If people are gonna throw things, I hope Kyle Busch wins, then. I could care less if his car got beer bombed. It'd probably make his brother happy, especially if they used a lot of Miller Lite.
nascarfanatic24 2 years ago
god, just seems like yesterday he passed. god, that hit me and my family soo hard. god i miss big e out on the track. its like, after he passed, i didnt even care about nascar. i used to fly a an intimidator high everysunday along w/ jeff and the american flag. now, they just sit in the basement. god, that was a sad day in nascar and in the homes of fans. rip dale, you were the best. one the nascar greats
ChevyGuysWearBowties 3 years ago
Man, a lot of the fans like you are the same way and not by any means is it bad. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was NASCAR, everyone cheered him and believed in him. When you take away the most integral part of why you do something, it pretty much makes it totally meaningless. Dale's death did that to many fans. NASCAR, to this day, still has not gotten over the loss of Earnhardt. NASCAR still seems empty without the black #3 on the track. ChevyGuys, your pain is not misfounded by any means. RIP Dale Sr.
KKFan9 3 years ago
You know, since this vid is my favorite, as well as the song Hero from the Spider-Man movie, I've reworked the song to make it a tribute to Dale Earnhardt. I call it "Hero: A Dale Earnhardt Tribute"
Great, lovable vid, by the way!

Great video. You put that together very well.
charmed368920 3 years ago 2

Alright, but I gotta say, because of how long and short both the video and song is, make sure you time it just right. So, I was thinking about starting the video at 0:50 seconds, then play the song. Either way, just try to time it just right!

I see alittle of Dale Sr. in Jr. At plate tracks. He learned from the best. i still miss Dale to this day.
combatking08 3 years ago
Jr did learn from the best when it comes to plate tracks. Sr taught him everything there is to passing and seeing that draft. I still miss seeing that black #3 on the track every sunday. I'm thinking about buying DEI on nascar 07 and doing my car the same color as Earnhardt Sr's but I'm not sure if I should
Dalesr4ever 3 years ago
I agree with you. But i would think that Dale didn't teach Jr. everything. That would have given Jr. the advantage. I would think Senior kept somethings too himself and let Jr. figure the rest out on his own. Just saying.
combatking08 3 years ago
Don't worry about it. It's your saying and I'm not saying your bad, but you are right. I think there is somethings Sr kept to himself and letted Jr figure the rest on his own after Sr passed on. Sr was the man that took nascar and shaked it off it's core. Long live Dale Sr forever
Dalesr4ever 3 years ago
Yep, Senior is one of the grandfathers of NASCAR. Help make it what it is today. On a side note, Kyle Busch isn't the next Dale Sr.
combatking08 3 years ago
I agree with you there. No way is that brat Kyle Busch gonna be the next Dale Sr
Dalesr4ever 3 years ago
No way. Kyle Busch does have talent, but he is nowhere near close to the personality that Earnhardt Sr. was so he won't be the next Sr. I think Tony Stewart is the closest thing in terms of personality but hasn't had the same success as Earnhardt Sr. just my personal opinion :]
KKFan9 3 years ago
I agree with you there. Sr had the personality that everyone in the nascar got to know and loved. Even thought Kyle has the talent, but he is nowhere in earnhardt sr's shadow
Dalesr4ever 3 years ago
Besides that, Kyle's an idiot compared to some of the worst drivers on the circuit. He's all talent, and no brains. Guys like Dale, Jeff, and Jimmie at least use their heads.

Hey man, I know how you feel. The first time it really sank into me was when Steve Park won that Rockingham race for DEI. I just knew that Dale was in that car with him. Then really at the July race at Daytona when Jr won that race. That's when I really knew that Dale was right there in that car with JR. And I still think about that.
nascarfreak83 4 years ago

No no, thank YOU for watching this video. This video would be nothing if there was nobody that wanted to see it. I am really glad that not a single person hates this video. And I agree, NASCAR became what it was because of Dale Sr.

I am sorry to say this but to me Dale Earnhardt sr. will only be the PRINCE of nascar. to me the king of nascar is Richard Petty.

Dale Earnhardt sr- forever in our hearts:(
Febuary 18,2001 second worst day of the year for america :(

second?

Junior had the fastest car there all weekend, and deserved to win.

armycourt, i like to look at things like that but I think he won it on his own and wether or not he did i dont care, he deserved it.

i honestly dont think it was fixed...if it were I dont think any driver is a gifted enough actor to celebrate the way Jr did afterward in the grass
jrfan8829 4 years ago
